AGO Norma Ridley Members' Lounge

I regularly have a great experience dining at the members lounge. The service is good and there is always a delicious vegitarian option. The only complaint I have is that sometimes I find the portions too small. Overall, I really enjoy having lunch there, alone or with a friend.

Awful experience. We are AGO members and went in for a quick snack with our 5 year old. The service was horrid. The other tables around us and the other guests that arrived after us were served before us. I finally had to go up and cancel our order because the food was taking took long to be served and we were hungry. I was told that the food was already made so my question was why were we kept waiting? Our sever was standing around joking around so not sure what's going on because if you knew the food was ready, my expectation would have been to serve it. Left with the feeling that they are not very welcoming to families with little ones. Won't be going back. Also heard the food was meh so not missing out on much.

Food combinations are interesting and some on the edge of challenging with mixed results. Unfortunately the chef seems to concentrate on flavours and forgets quality of core ingredients for example serving an open turkey sandwitch where the turkey seemed so dry that it would almost be categorized as dehydrated. Two stars for the attempt to combine interesting flavours. No stars for the complete lack of focus on ingredient quality.

I've been coming to the AGO for years and finally discovered this nice quiet place in the AGO. Great view of the park while you enjoy a cappuccino and a light snack/lunch.

Came here for high tea. Service was nice and friendly, tea was great with a good selection. The food was kinda meh.

The members lounge is a great place to sit with friends for some drinks and nibbles before hitting the galleries

The staff are very friendly. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is great. Will do this again.

Beautiful elegant sophisticated and cozy. A lovely afternoon of tea and snacks.
