Having a dinner for 3 of us today and it was an amazing dinner! We’d ordered: Mussels - very great taste with curry flavour, not spicy so my kid loves it! Tomato and onion on the sauce was so tasty! Grilled Calamari - nice texture and great grill Gnocchi - full of mushroom and tasted amazing; I am not a fan of Gnocchi but we finish it all Spanish rice - special taste and the texture is just right! Overall love the food and vibe of the restaurant and will come back again shortly!
The food and service were excellent. Yes, it's quite pricey but the portions and quality is worth it in my opinion. The Spanish paella was delicious and the seafood that came in it were fresh and plentiful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining restaurant in Stouffville.
Loved every dish we ordered! Came here on a Monday for our dinner reservation at 6:30PM. I would recommend you book in advance as it was surprisingly busy for a Monday night and the space appeared to fit around less than 50 people. We were all very impressed with the service, considering there was only one server that night! Our waitress was lovely. She always checked in on us and made sure we were taken care of. The food was amaaazing. We ordered the grilled calamari; Spanish rice; pan-seared ahi tuna; pan-seared cod loin; pan-seared organic salmon; and Grilled Australian rack of lamb. They’re portions were relatively large for fine dining similar to portions you’d get at the Keg. The calamari comes with two large pieces of squid, cut up in slices, and was perfectly grilled not over cooked. It was certainly enough food to fill us all up and still have leftovers for takeout. All of the dishes were flavourful and delicious! Their prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity. I am so glad we stumbled upon this cute, fancy restaurant. I hope their menu changes by the season, just to see what new, creative dishes they’d have in store!
This was a great experience for a smaller dining experience. The food was amazing and tasty along with delicious, we all had something different and we all said it was most definitely a 10/10 . It’s a bit pricey but well worth it! We started off with the rustic fries .. they were to die for And then the main dishes to follow. After dinner there was no room for dessert.. If you are with the right company and are hungry. This place will be all that you need for a great nite and fantastic company and a comfortable atmosphere . We will be back a few more times.
Another gem in Stouffville which makes me so glad that I live here! Have been wanting to try out this place since it opened it’s doors in midst of pandemic. But I knew that this was a place meant for dine in experience and not take out so had to patiently wait for that opportunity. And that chance came this year. And it was worth the wait. This place had already started making buzz so expectation was high. We had reservations for a Friday night dinner which was a smart thing to do looking at the rush. Their menu is compact and very specific so there is not much of a struggle to make your choice. We tried their day’s special for appetisers fried goat cheese and shrimp and avocado salad which was simply amazing and we knew our gastronomic expectations were going to be satisfied to the fullest! They have an amazing team from the kitchen to floor to the bar to make it a wholesome dinning experience. Just want to mention here that there was a bit of hiccup when they forgot our drinks order but their timely acknowledgment of the fact and correction of this was all that was needed. This is a must try out place and the chef is doing some amazing fusion dishes and innovating the menu periodically which gives one more reasons to keep coming back.
I really like the ambiance and seating layout in the restaurant. Very nice for date night or a girl's night out. To start we got grilled bread with a tasty hummus type spread that was on the house. The cocktails were very good, we had the Lycheereal lychee fruit and Espresso Martini. For an appetizer I had the grilled calamari so tasty it's perfect for sharing or as a main, the Empanadas were okay. I must point out the break in between the appetizers and the main course was great. We totally appreciated that gesture. My biggest pet peeve is when restaurants bring out the mains even before you finish the appetizers. For our mains the Wild mushroom gnocchi and the Lamb chops with assorted grilled vegetables very tasty the gnocchi texture was perfect It's not cheap, however having this gem in Stouffville and not in Toronto is well worth it. The chef- owner made the best decision ever!!!
A lil gem in stouffville! I absolutely enjoyed everything I ordered. The gnocchi was to die for. I can come back weekly just to order that dish. The calamari was tasty. Portions are huge! Chef and the staff are super friendly and professional. I had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Service was excellent but food was not that good as expected given the price range. Some mussels were overcooked, not fresh and had sand in them. Maybe we were just not lucky as i see many good reviews about them. Love the grilled calamari and seafood pasta though but we were just very disappointed with the mussels.
The first time I came here to celebrate my dad's birthday, the food was overcooked and I was very disappointed. The chef and owner of the restaurant reached out to me and invited me back for a second try, and I'm glad I took them up on the offer. The second time around the food was excellent, and my parents were very pleased. The service of this restaurant is amazing, and honestly the waitress I'm so sorry I didn't catch your name! is the best one I've ever met. Agi goes daily to the seafood market to get fresh produce and it shows in the quality of the food. My favourite thing about this restaurant is that they have weekly specials, I highly recommend those over the normal menu items. With this experience, this is my personal favourite place to go in Stouffville. Check it out, and reserve in advance for best experience.
Ordered take out from Agi kitchen today and what a phenomenal meal. The ordering was so easy on their website and so quick too. 5 dishes were ready in 25min! Everything was so incredibly flavourful, each bite just a symphony of taste and texture. The only tips I have for slight improvement was that the red beet salad was small in portion but everything else was sized very well. We ordered the grilled calamari, the red beat and grapefruit salad, the Spanish rice, seafood pescatore and the creamy mushroom gnocchi. You have got to try this place.
