Had the most amazing experience at Biggys… the owners were super friendly and very kind… the service and the food was excellent !! I got the Philly cheese steak and it was so big, worth the price..portion sizes are so big!! I will definitely be going back!! I wish they had other locations closer to me! Can’t wait to go back!
This place is wonderful! We came for dinner with friends and it was delicious in every way! The admosphere is beautiful and our servers were so friendly and kind. Food is amazing and you get a beautiful, full meal. Samosas were hot and fresh, the sauces were perfect for it. Didn't take a photo of the food because we inhaled it all. Pictured is a dessert with peanuts & coconut Delish!
The food was really good and the service was amazing!! Owner and staff are super kind, it’s the type of restaurant where you order from the front. We ordered Biggy's philly fries and Mixed grill plate, flavour was excellent and don't forget to use tamarind and chilly sauce to spice up. For starters we ordered fired mogo, meat samosas and kala kebabs, real East Africans style cooking. Price was very reasonable, good portions and very clean place, definitely going there again.
Food was fresh but salad was missing the dressing not sure if I was suppose to eat it blend or if they forgot the sauce. The jerk chicken plate was a bit pricey considering the amount fries overpowering the size of the chicken. The samosas were delicious though. I would let the person who’s taking the order know to do the following I understand she may or may not be new to the job: 1 when picking up the phone for orders answer with something like “Hi, this is Biggie’s Grill, how can I help you?”. I say this because she answered it as if it was her own cellphone saying “hello?” only, which made me think I had the wrong number. 2 she should let the customer know the total of the order and confirm what was ordered 3 ask if utensils are required, they didn’t even include any 4 also let the customer know how long they should expect the order to be ready
Biggy's Hot sauce on their wings...wow! I must warn you, they're seriously hot. Very flavourful. BBQ wings were a hit as well. Me and the kids loved it. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
Food was delicious. Especially the ribs. Service was wonderful. Definitely recommend this place. Plan to come back again.
The food was good. It was tasty and their homemade hot sauce is very nice. Service was excellent.
I was really excited to try this place after reading all of the raving reviews and because there's hardly any choices for ethnic food in Stouffville. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan. I ordered the Mixed Grilled Plate and the only thing I actually enjoyed was the chicken mishkaki. Flavourful and the chicken was very tender. The short ribs were extremely fatty and the beef mishkaki was quite bland. None of the meat was overcooked though so that was a plus. The "Amli" sauce was also not something I cared for. It honestly tasted like A1 sauce with some pepper and vinegar. Not at all what I expected Amli sauce to taste like. The beef samosas were fine but didn't like that they use spring roll wrappers for them. Not very authentic. The thing that really got me though was the "cabbage coleslaw" that comes with the mixed grill plate. That was not coleslaw. It was literally just dry, shredded cabbage with zero dressing. The fries were also a bit soggy and really not much else to say there. For $19.99, I expected much more. Maybe I'll give this place another shot in the future but definitely won't be rushing back.
Very bold and flavourful BBQ - Amazing! If you're feeling adventurous - try the biggie hot sauce!
Been meaning to try Biggy's for ages and finally managed to go today. The food was AMAZING! Love the authentic atmosphere and food. We started with an order of mogo which was perfectly fried and seasoned. I liked that it wasn't spicy so the kids could enjoy, but we had condiments to add to it to make it spicier for us. We tried the mixed grill plate which was a generous portion. We tried the masala ribs as well which were so tender. Kids had burgers that were flavorful and moist. Definitely coming back again!
