The bakery area is amazing. They have all sorts of afghan kulche cookies and cake. The naan is fresh. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely check them out if you haven't already. If you do try the cream rolls. And baklava fresh naan to eat with your meal is a great choice.
Great variety of food- cookies/ baked goods. The stuffed flat breads are the best. Generally, stuffed with onions, potatoes, beef or chicken. Each of these breads are made fresh and are very tasty
They try to sell you expired food/bread as fresh. FDA should check this store.
My daughter and her father have been going here for the past 11 years to purchase flatbread. The quality of the bread and the size of the bread is phenomenal especially for the low cost.
The store and there are amazing they have really good customer service and this Afghan store is really underrated they should give it 5 stars I love everything about it they are very nice people
Delicious Shiryakh. Only available in the warmer season. They also have some very nice breads, a shawarma shop and some other afghani dishes such as Mantoo and Bolani. Didn’t try any but looked pretty good.
Only been for the goat meat. Fresh and tasty.
Went there and had a sheryakh avrage taste compare to their Niebour and the worst thing is that the snakes gummy jelly, candy, marshmallows have galetine
The gentleman who is working in the bakery collecting the money and serving the bread no sanitizing his hands without gloves
Very unpleasant experience. My parents wished to check this store so we dropped by. It’s got a good variety of goods. However things are in disorder and lots of items have no price tag. Items are bagged with no price. So if you’d like to buy some walnuts, raisin or almond, you take a store-bagged item to cashier and they tell you how much it costs! Even for products which are sold in producers’ bag, like barley, there were no tag and that gave me an idea: checking the price: 5$. The same barley is in Sobey’s for 3:49$. At the cash, we received only a receipt for the amount we paid and not a bill listing what we purchased and how much each item costed. Checking with my folks, I realized they had paid almost 50$ for a half empty bag of grocery. I can only assume the store took advantage of trusting people. An exploratory trip ended up with me feeling I left my folks to be the prey. Not recommended.
