Captain C Cakes & Ice Cream

Cookies and creme cake is nice and light, not too sweet. Cupcakes are OK, the icing is light and fluffy and looks pretty with the multi-colour, and the cake itself kind of tastes like supermarket quality, but a little better and not too sweet. The chocolate cupcake did not have enough chocolate flavour and one of them were smaller than the rest. Friendly and warm service.

So happy I found this place. The owner is awesome. Took time to understand how I wanted my customized cake and made it perfectly! Price is great compared to other custom cakes too. He is my new go to guy whenever I need cakes done. Also the ice cream flavors look amazing, going to try next time I go!

I ordered a customized Safari Theme cake for my son’s birthday and Cliff worked on it so well. Super happy about it. The mini animals for the decoration were provided by me additionally from party cuty. The icing was the best, light, controlled sweetness and perfect as I wanted it to be. I visited 6 bakeries to get the customization done, but Captain C was the most economic of all.

Saw this on an instagram food review and decided to check it out. I ordered the carrot cake and Jamaican rum cake. Both the carrot cake and the Jamaican cake were small, dry and the flavours were very muted. You couldn't really taste the carrot or the rum. The icing was lightly applied. I requested them to add a writing to the cake . They just ignored it . Worst cake I ever had in my lift time . Please do not waste money. It was a last minute decision to go with this shop seeing the reviews, but what a blunder . This shop just screwed my new year. Will never ever purchase from this shop and I do not recommend this shop to anyone . I'm not sure how they received these many good reviews.

Very friendly, his cupcake truly succulent and not too sweet like other cupcakes, if you ask he makes them less sweet and his cake super delicious and artful. He is the most reasonable priced baked good place in GTA in my opinion. Everytime we have a party and we get our sweet treat from his bakery, everyone ask us where we got our cakes and cupcakes. Kid-friendliness: He makes his cake and cupcakes nut free and if you ask for less sweet he will do it as well

Been here a few times now and I absolutely love this place. Owner and staff have always been super friendly. Great ice cream and they offer a variety of cakes. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Ordered a few desserts for a night in and it was delicious! We got tiramisu, funky monkey banana cake, Nutella filled banana cupcake and carrot cake. The Banana cake was my favourite - so flavourful and moist and not too sweet. I would definitely order a big size cake for an occasion one day. Took a pic mid- feast because we forgot and dug right in!
