Created by local BC artist Rodney Graham.A graduate of UBC,Rodney's works include film,photography, painting, sculpture and installation art. He was awarded the Officer of the Order of Canada for his contributions to contemporary visual arts amongst many other recognitions. His "Basement Camera Shop" photo was recognized and awarded as a Canadian postage stamp in 2013. Located at the edge of Stanley Park and close to "Solo" and "Search," art installations.
Nice place to sit, difficult to get a photo with all the people walking by. There are benches in the shade and in the sun, at least when I was there in the late afternoon. This sculpture itself is not very remarkable, to my untrained eye. There is an ice cream cart nearby.
