Wish we could give 100 stars! We had a number of activities planned while in Halifax but after doing Activate first….we are going back again today!nnNot only unique and incredibly fun, but it’s a healthy workout and best way to wear out kids and grownups. We slept well!nnIt’s like real life video games with approx 13 different rooms and games. Get ready to laugh and make amazing memories.nnWe liked that it is set to maximize your value VS trying to charge as much as possible. The free Photo Booth was also a hit!nnThe employees truly made the experience even better. They are clearly dedicated to their role, and we felt like we were hanging out with friends. Extra shout out to Theo, Jay and Chelsey! I would hire you all if I could.nnPS - PLEASE BRING ACTIVATE TO SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK!
We played the activate game zone and ventured in with a group of four. The time limit is set at 75 minutes for $32.05 per person. We secured our slots online and each paid a $5 deposit, which will be deducted from the final bill. The game zone is divided into two sections: competitive, where you can play together in teams, and cooperative, where you face off against each other. With various rooms and games on offer, it's challenging to experience everything in just one visit. Personally, my favourite game was 'Asteroids and Laser Light'.You receive wristbands upon entry, and the moment you tap 'start', your time begins. Certain games require running, while others involve standing and playing. It's advisable to wear loose clothing and store your jacket either in your car or in the locker room.The only aspect I disliked was that the time kept running even when we were outside the room, waiting for our turn. It should pause and only resume counting when we're inside playing. We visited on a weekend, and the crowd was so large that we couldn't cover many games.
Absolutely fantastic place. Felt like I was in a video game mixed with a game show, while getting secret exercise! So much variety, different levels of difficulty and energy and a perfect amount of time given for the session. So glad it's here in HRM!
Awesome location! My friends and I are 27 year old guys and we had a blast. Personally it was the most fun I’ve had at a recreation activity in a longggg time!nnThe location has easy access parking, food options nearby, and you can reserve a spot online if you’re here on a weekend during peak tourist times.nnChelsea at the front desk was super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.nn10/10 recommend for young adults looking for something to do, or young families with active children.nnEnjoy!
Very happy with my first Activate experience. Recently brought my staff here for our monthly team building activity and we had a blast.nnI came by to book in advance and check out the space, one of employees Spencer was very helpful and gave me a brief tour, walking through the logistics, which made the experience on the day of much smoother. My team really enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back!nnThanks Spencer and the rest of the staff for a fun and seamless experience! If you are looking for a fun, athletic, and dynamic experience, I would definitely recommend stopping by!!
