Ace Self Storage LLC

My 1St year renting at Ace. Yale student from Down Under. Heard about the water issue and it was a single unit involved. Took it upon myself to ask the owner. She explained CG complaint and how it is a leased space. Also that the contract and website clearly state that it is upon the renter to carry insurance as no self storage insures an occupant. The owner also added that a small claims action was filed and CG failed to prove his case and lost since lease was signed by him. Am sorry about someone loosing their items but any first year law student should know to read any document and I did. As my professor explained it falls under the 4 corners rule. If it's within the 4 corners of the document then it is abiding. A note to CG. Be careful what you write and that you have your facts. Even a blog post can be held as libel or slander. Cheers UPDATE: just moved out and all was fine. sorry that CG had an issue, maybe just bad luck.

Would not recommend storing your belongings here. The infrastructure is old and the interior does not appear to be well maintained.

I would highly recommend against storing your belongings here. It is such an old building that the pipes leaked all over my belongings while I was a tenant and destroyed everything. Go somewhere else. I hear that this happens often.

Best Rates in New Haven, decent place, great Service. I was able to call and rent after hours on a Sunday.
