Story

With a combined total of over 20 years of physiotherapy experience, we are confident in our clinic's ability to do everything possible to safely and efficiently return you to your pre injury work, recreation, and home activities.

We offer a wide variety of services including:
-Physiotherapy - Acupuncture -Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS)
- Vestibular Rehabilitation - TMJ Treatments
- Conditioning Programs -Return To Work Evaluations

We also offer Massage Therapy, as well as the services of a Psychologist and a Dietitian!



"We are a community based clinic serving Edmonton and area for more than 30 years. At Acadia Physical Therapy and Health Centre, we combine the best of traditional Physiotherapy treatments with effective complementary techniques such as Intramuscular Stimulation IMS and Acupuncture to treating musculoskeletal injuries. We also specialize in treatment of Dizziness symptoms and TMJ Jaw related issues.We are an AHS funded and WCB contracted clinic. We work directly a number of Auto Insurance companies for your Motor Vehicle Accident claims on your behalf. Our goal is to work with you to get you back to your life as quickly and painlessly as possible.We also direct-bill to a number of Extended health benefit companies - call us now!"

A dedicated and well versed staff who work with you by developing a comprehensive recovery plan and helping you to get the best out of it.
Have been here 5 years ago and was happy how they treated the clients. So I had to start physio again so thought I would give them a try again and I was impressed from there prompt reply via email and the professionalism they provided when I arrived till I got into to get assessed. Keep up the great work Team Acadia and I'll be referring you to my friends who need physio therapy.
I found Acadia visits to be wonderful experiences too! The staff and owners are so friendly, thorough, professional and down-to-earth, making you feel right at home in no time. Every visit, the exercises fit my needs at that given time and improved my mobility and strength daily. Uday followed my progress closely and right from the start, had several great tips for my overly-stiff muscles as well. I'm amazed at how quickly I've regained my mobility and becoming stronger every day! I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for physio therapy. My sincere thanks to Uday and the staff at Acadia. You led the way in my recovery! Bless you all!
My brother has been going here forever and he advised me to go see them for my shoulder. These guys are great. I never have to wait for personal care and when i leave the clinic i always feel better.
I have had many great experiences at Acadia. Most recently Moe helped me with a fractured hand. He was thorough and very personable. I healed up way faster than expected and have regained my mobility as if I was never injured! I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for physio therapy. Thank you Acadia and thank you Mohanad!
I saw Uday here for a back injury in 2018/2019. My doctor didn’t know what the issue was yet, and I was undergoing different tests X-ray, MRI over months to find out what the source of my excruciating pain and limited mobility was. It was so bad I had to take a 6 month leave from work and go on disability. Uday could tell what my injury was right away by my symptoms without even needing the medical images. By the time my doctor told me it was a herniated disc with nerve impingement, I had already made improvements from my treatment with Uday and through consultation with him, decided not to go through with the recommendations from the neurosurgeon for back surgery and epidurals. We worked together for months both regular physio sessions and IMS and and I was finally able to start walking normally again and my pain eventually subsided completely so I can live my life as usual - which I never thought I’d be able to do. Years later, I now exercise and strength train daily to avoid another injury and to keep my body working as it should, and I cannot be more grateful to Acadia for getting me to this place. I still think of them and how they helped me through that difficult time in my life often - which is why I’m writing the review now! Thank you so much!!
I had a good experience at Acadia. staff are nice and friendly and my Physiotherapist Moe was very helpful and now i m back to my normal life , I came with a bad sprained ankle. I m grateful to this place Especially to Moe my physiotherapist. good job
I've been going to Acadia for a couple of months now to do physio from a car accident I was in. I didn't think that I would be at 100% since the accident, but after the hours that Moe has put in to work with me I can say that my quality of life has improved. Acadia has helped me through this rough time and it's very appreciated, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else for Physical Therapy, Thanks again Moe.
Cannot recommend Acadia enough. Monica and Ashwin and every member of the staff there I have dealt with have been so friendly, genuinely caring, and extremely knowledgeable.
