Academy Street Bed & Breakfast

Comfortable rooms, beautiful period furnishings and woodwork, beautiful yard, really good breakfast, and a very nice hostess.

Stayed at Academy Street B & B, 20/30 years ago twice, when our kids were at Pine Forest Camp. It was so lovely, clean & nice. Breakfast was delish!

Wonderful experience. Michelle is friendly and warms you from first meeting. Beautiful classic home; yards are gorgeous. I concede that I do not know much about the B&B experience, but frankly I'm a hotel snob and not impressed with any of the hotels nor resorts in Wayne County having stayed at/or seen several of them these past few years. Academy Street Bed & Breakfast is a much better choice with an outstanding value; the breakfast alone was worth the price of admission for me. Thanks, ~Howard

Stayed for two nights recently in the Captain's Room and it has been quite a while since we have experienced such peace and quiet. Academy Street Bed and Breakfast is located on a quiet street among other beautiful Victorian Homes. It has been painstakingly restored and is decorated beautifully. The front porch is a cozy place to sit and relax with a book.. Michelle, the owner and our gracious hostess, served the most delicious breakfasts and went out of her way to direct us to some scenic sights in the area. Don't miss Lake Walenpaupack and the Pontoon boat ride or just hike around the lake. Walking distance from the Inn is the Riverside Walk which you can take right into the main shopping area with some lovely shops. Also walking distance some the best eats in the area are at Cora's. You can't miss it, it's the purple resaurant around the corner from Academy. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK. Linda and Vince..Northport, LI, NY
