Simply Awesome place, dive comedy bar at its best. Acts range based on the night etc... 3 comedians + the MC so your bound to get some good laughs. Never disappointed and have been a handful of times.
I had a great time at Absolute Comedy! Overall, the acts were all solid and I definitely had good laughs. Perfect spot for a date night! I would not recommend sitting at the front row if you don't like being put on the spot. After reading previous comments, I did not order food there, just ate at local near by restaurants before going in. I had a beer, average price. I would definitely go back when I get a chance, highly recommend the experience.
The comedy show itself was well worth a visit. It was my first time seeing a live in-person comedy show and I had a fair share of laughs! Great comedians. Had a lasagna and it was decent. However, I was surprised to be told that there is no free water...We have to pay for bottled water. Is that even legal? Would have given 5 stars if not for this aspect...
Absolute best show ever !! We have been here before and it was great but tonight we came as part of the JFL 42 pass and the comics were absolutely amazing. Absolute best show so far, and they have all been good!! Our server Alasca was amazing!!! How she could hear any of our orders and take care of so many tables is beyond me!! Great night!!!
Havent been to a comedy show in a while, are all acts this toothless now? A few chuckles for sure but the comedians really gotta move past covid and not hurting feelings. The establishment was way too concerned with us having a good time than the quality of their food or expedient service.worst nachos I've ever had, luckily with the low lighting I didn't have to be as visually disgusted by them as I was with the taste of them. The one star is for the two bartenders when you first walk in, those two were awesome and funnier than the comedians.
Went on an amateur night. The comedy was great, even the "bad stuff" was entertaining....I have a lot of respect for people who put themselves out there like that. The food was just okay and the waitress wasn't exactly friendly. Would definitely go back.
Great place. Good customer service. The show was super fun. Overall the only complaint I have is that they don't allow outside beverages, not even water and their bottled water is stale tasting,so come hydrated! I get why they have the role. Cave blame them. It just sucks that their solution isn't very good
Fun night out. Food is overpriced and they even charge for water, no glass of tap. But as long as you get food before or after it's a fun Night of comedy. Also they do a contest to give away 10 free tickets by filling out comment cards after the show so you can keep coming back for free!
This is probably my go-to for comedy shows, because all the other ones are usually downtown. The headliner is always funny! The food is a hit or miss, because we were served cold chicken tenders while the poutine was delicious. There is street parking or Green P at the back for those who drive.
Been to two shows here - always a good time! Great service and laughs. They have comment cards at the end of the show that you can fill out for a raffle for free tickets!
