I needed a shut-off valve installed for the furnace humidifier feed. Geoff came when he said he would and did the job quickly for a fair price. Will definitely call Abbey again the next time I need plumbing work done.

Excellent plumbing repairs and friendly service by JJ (a licensed plumber) with Abbey, a family run business in Mississauga. The owner Geoff did a preliminary diagnosis over the phone when I called, and he gave me a resonable estimate that turned out to be accurate. JJ fixed the problem at hand: replaced an old cartridge in a shutoff valve that had let water continue to flow to an outside water pipe and tap, which had caused the pipe to burst during a cold spell); he also removed the old pipe and installed a new tap in a better location. Since he was already here, I asked if he would fix small leaks in a laundry room tap and a kitchen tap, and change a cartridge in the kitchen tap. He did it cheerfully, quickly, and at a fair price. Based on this postive first experience with Abbey, I would use them again for plumbing repairs.
