I bought a 100 pound tank of propane. The older male that i originally spoke to was telling me i had to buy a new tank. when i asked about getting refills he said they charge $20 for each refill on top of the price of the propane. After further conversation he informed me that i wont actually be getting a brand new cylinder and even if i did. when the truck comes to refill my cylinder. They wont refill it but instead they will exchange it. He continued to inform me that i wont ever actually get the same cylinder twice. which perplexed me as to why i would be "buying" a brand new cylinder but never actually getting one thats new. Because of the contradicting information he was giving me and the fact that he just didnt seem very nice or friendly, I hesitated. later that day i went back and decided to go ahead and purchase it. The older man i was dealing with was busy with someone else so a younger than him female came out and finished the process with me. She was a thousand times more likable and friendly. she also gave me a slight discount on the cylinder because it was a used one. which was definatly appropriate in my opinion. when she gave me a quote for the total price that was less than the one the man had given me earlier. He over heard and seemed to have issue with her discounting for the used cylinder. there is more but that is a decent example of my experience with A OX. Now that ive had a couple days to mull this over. i dont know that i would suggest this place to take your business. im just hoping i dont get stuck dealing with the old man anymore. Im also crossing my fingers with the hopes that i didnt make a big mistake by spending my money here. i have a sneaking suspicion that i wont be satisfied with the service. I'll just do my best to make it work for now. thank you.

I have had a tank lease for several years. Unfortunately, the last two years, paying for it has been a nightmare. They have a horrible automated reception service for phone calls. I call collections in attempt to pay but all I can do is leave messages, asking for them to call me back. I have a busy life and I cannot take the time to call and talk to a robo-receptionist everyday trying to pay my bill. Eventually, I get another bill with 21% late charge. So I call again, and again and again. Finally, when the robo receptionist picks up, I just start hitting buttons till a human finally answers. She blames the robo-receptionist for not proving voice mails and says it is not a very good system and it has problems.... Well fix the problem.

Don’t waste your time unless your a big account. Sales staff don’t seem to care how long you have been waiting their personal conversations come first.

Great Independant distributor. They know how to get things done unlike the goofy big box distributors in the area who couldn't care less about my company only what they can get from me. A-OX is a solution driven company from the owners on down. You will never get service like they offer anywhere else !

Screw these guys, seriously. They don't do CO2 even though they advertise it. I went there twice and was denied service twice. they close at 5pm but yet they shut their pumps off at 3pm? Was lied to once by the receptionist, told to come back the next day where I was denied again. Do not come here for CO2, you will be laughed at and denied service.

Best welding supplier in the area. They don't charge a monthly tank rent like some of the other suppliers. Their new location is a bit out of the way, but is significantly nicer than the old one on Cliff.

Staff helped us get what we needed and went above and beyond trying to help us find a decent bearing supply for a boat trailer. Thanks again!

Awesome people, was in a pinch and in need of a part which they were out of, but found a cheaper alternative to get me rolling, and had a great attitude about it the whole time.
