A Ladybug Bakery & Cafe

Great little bakery and cafe. We went solely for the hot chocolate, hot chocolate fest Feb 2022. The hot chocolate was on the simpler side, but loved it more then some of the fancy ones we have gotten. Thrilled we went. We bought two pizzas, both were super delicious. They serve breakfast stuff in the AM and Lunch. After 4:30pm is when you can order pizzas…I highly suggest it! Don’t order from door dash or skip, go and pick up your orders! You can buy all kinds of cool coffee grounds, great desserts, frozen homemade soups and pastries you can heat up at home. My wife picked up some macaroons…dam they were good. I hate macaroons, but these were deadly, layered flavour, nailed them perfectly. Washrooms were spotless, spacious and a change table. Lots of parking. Clean and spacious inside the cafe. I believe we met the owner and she was super nice and chatty. When we are back in this side of town we will be back!

Stopped by for a Thursday brunch and was greeted by Ms. Mikayla! Super outgoing and very friendly, she really made the whole brunch experience a great one!! She gave us incredible options and helped us choose our meals — amazing service for sure! Mikayla was super engaged and attentive to our every need. Everything looked great and tasted amazing. We WILL be coming back soon !!!

Food is very good no doubt and the price is very reasonable. But there waiting list service is screwed. A guy at the counter put me in the waiting list, I was the first one, waited 45 minutes outside, received no text. I got back to check the cafe, 4-5 tables are empty, one waitress asked me to sit on a table. Now we are dining, but no text yet..lol…what a service!! I took one start off for the service and ruining the mood of my branch with my family Update: The owner followed up promptly, which is really appreciable.

My experience with Ladybug Bakery and Café was not as satisfying as I had hoped. The coffee offered was just average in terms of flavor, and not particularly noteworthy. Additionally, the food we ordered fell short of expectations with burnt sausages, dry bacon and a soggy crepe. Furthermore, the prices were quite high, in comparison with the quality and portion received. The food items on the menu did not seem well thought-out, and were not curated as well as they could be. The service was friendly, but the quality of the products did not match the level of service provided. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Ladybug Bakery and Café for those seeking a high-quality coffee and food experience. The lack of attention to detail and care in the products, as well as the high prices, make it less than ideal choice for dining or coffee. It's worth looking for other options in the area.

Great environment and atmosphere, amazing staff, super friendly. Amazing cakes, and sweets and bakery stuff and yet something about the food and the potato hashbrowns... A big let down when everything else is top notch. Otherwise we'll come back again and again,

Very good brunch this morning with my sweetie. We shared a large French Press and the coffee was very tasty. I ordered the chicken waffle poutine which was on point. Potato wedges were tasty and all was good except perhaps the cheese curds that were all melted. I like mine still a little chunky.

Ladybug is a quaint and delicious brunch spot. The decor and style is refreshingly European, the espresso and coffee options are many and the food is excellent! The Tokyo Hot Chicken Sandwich was super crispy and the bun was fluffy. The ham and cheese crepe was light and satisfying. The service was fast and friendly and kept our waters full. We will be back for more!

Raspberry tart!!!! We were planning to stay in the cafe and enjoy some coffee with pastry but it was insanely busy so we decided to grab something and head home. Omg, worth every minute of 35 min drive! Fresh Raspberries and smooth creamy filling something everyone needs on hot summer day. That macaroon in the middle!!!! now i know I will need to grab some of them We will try our luck to enjoy the cafe next time.

A hidden gem in this part of town. Food is delicious, great service and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back to try different things.

Absolutely amazing service and food. We didn’t have time to wait so it got the breakfast sandwich to go and ate outside. The lovely server checked on us and he brought us sodas! The food was fresh and delicious; I loved the miso dressing. Highly recommend, next time I want to try the bakery items which look spectacular.
