Our Optometrists Offices have been providing eyecare to the Edmonton area since 1921.

Story

We are a full scope Optometric practice providing eye exams, glasses and contact lenses (including specialty lenses). We see patients of all ages from babies to seniors!

Our Downtown Commerce Place location now offers OCT imaging, which is a scan of the retina. This scan allows our optometrists to detect and monitor various eye diseases including glaucoma and macular degeneration. The OCT imaging is also available in our Sherwood Park Office.

This eye clinic is all around exceptional.  So grateful to be under the care of Dr. Brennan Nelson. He and his staff are experts in their field and provide excellent service.

I have always enjoyed the hospitality and professional approach to eye care that 1st Street offers. I have never had a problem coming here in the many years I have been coming, and was incredibly satisfied most recently when getting a new pair of glasses, they helped me spectacularly in every aspect.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Dr. Nelson provides a very thorough and comprehensive eye exam, continually going above and beyond for his clients. I highly recommend them for your next eye exam.  You will not be disappointed!

I enjoyed dealing with all the staff here and would highly recommend their office.

They are always so helpful and honest with choosing new frames and well informed with all the options available. Been going there a long time they keep me coming back. Easy access to public transportation is also a big plus.

Friendly place.  Always come here for my eye exam.  Gail is very helpful and honest about how the glasses fit on me.  Dr Tromposh is also very helpful.

Awesome service, great product but most importantly, excellent advice. Highly recommend.

My family has been a client of 1st Street for more than 20 years. Dr. Tromposch is personable and professional. She takes time to answer questions, providing a level of confidence that is important when it comes to eye health. The support staff is terrific too, helping to select the most complimentary frames.
