108 Golf Resort

Good pricing off season, I give the staff that work here 5 stars they were very friendly and accommodating, the resort itself is a little old and showing some wear it is layed out in a standard Motel format and is 2 levels the rooms seem a little dated and I think maintenance could be improved generally the facility was showing some wear for its age. Housekeeping however was spot on the Rooms were clean and the service again was on par, so more then i expected from my initial impression. The room I booked was on the 2nd story and came with a great view of the golf course. we had a balcony overlooking the golf course but didn't use it as it was winter. the size of the room very spacious for a resort like this, it had a full sized bathroom and you can book adjoining rooms with doors that can open up the space even more. The room beside mine came with a full kitchenette stove fridge etc and a dining area, this makes it great for family's wanting to book space together. They have free WiFi and it seemed to work well even in my room at the very end of the resort. the resort serves a continental breakfast nothing fancy cereal muffins toast bagels and the like this is served in a fair sized common dining area this area is open to the public we used it for a games night again the staff were very accommodating. the staff and the service is what made my stay stand out the resort is in a quiet neighborhood far enough off the highway to keep things quiet. the rooms are big comfortable and clean so comfort would get my next highest rating. the resort itself is a little tired but my understanding is that they have new ownership with plans for renovating.

There are several standout features of the 108 Resort. First, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. No matter their task, they have big smiles to share. Second, the Resort has a magnificent view overlooking the golf greens, a wide lake and the nearby hills. Each room has windows and a balcony to enjoy this view Pathways lead off to a nearby beach and hiking trails. Third, a spacious pool permits the kids to splash and jump about and for others the opportunity to get in some laps. Fourth, the Hanger restaurant across the road provided a wide choice of tasty dishes for members of our group to enjoy.

It's a really beautiful location overlooking two lakes from a mild hill. The hotel rooms give a spacious balcony and chairs to enjoy the view with a friend. It was pretty easy to find and the room options can include a kitchenette. The service has been prompt and accommodating. The room service ladies are very likely to attempt to clean the room even while you are inside the room. Most definitely use the "do not disturb" sign, they don't know if you're in there from the guest computer information. I'm told hotel has new owners so it may be that the rules need some smoothing out. Some rooms have new soft mattresses while others have hard beds with older bedding. So, keep this in mind if booking a room.
