Zions Bank Meridian Silverstone

For those of you that are upset about a bank charging to cash your check as a NON-client. You have options. Open an account, or deposit it to your bank. They charge a fee because it is a service we provide, no said you HAD to go in and cash your check. All and I repeat ALL BANKS charge a fee to cash checks. Most charge more than $5. Being that it is a service there is a fee. I used to work in banking and the last thing you need to do is be annoying about a service that a bank charges for. These decisions are made by corporate NOT those at the bank. ALSO Zions didn't start charging a fee until 2016. Credit unions have different rules and regulations. They usually require you to keep a min balance in an account at all times. Guys its really not the banks ripping you off. you don;t get gas, groceries, car wash, daycare, etc for free so why would a bank which is a business be any different???

I am pissed, I go to this bank BC I received a hand written check and my bank isn't in Idaho and I have been looking for a local bank. I go in side this bank that looks like it does very well for its self. I go up to the counter with a very nice lady and cash it, find out there is a FIVE DOLLAR FEE TO CASH THERE OWN CHECK!!! WHAT! WHY? I ASK. SHE TOLD ME SHE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW. WHY HAVE A POLICY IF U DON'T ALLOW UR OWN EMPLOYEES TO HAVE AN ANSWER! WHAT OTHER BANK DOES THIS? THIS IS THE FIRST I HAVE EVER HEARD OF THIS! THAN THEY ASK IF I WOULD LIKE TO JOIN THERE BANK! HELL NO! I AM LOOKING FOR A BANK THAT DOESN'T RIP OFF ALL THERE CUSTOMERS! WHY IN THE HELL WOULD I WANT TO OPEN A BANK THAT CHARGES ME FEE'S BEFORE I EVEN JOIN. IF THERE ARE OTHER BANKS LIKE THIS 1) I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, AND 2) I HOPE THEY ALL GET CLOSED DOWN FOR RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. RANT OVER 🖕

I have been with this bank 7 yrs, and i have been mobile depositing my payroll checks for 2 yrs . After 2 years they put and 7 day HOLD on my paycheck and it was a Saturday when I finally realized it . So there was no one to help me and the call center had no clue!!!!!! So I have to wait til Monday thanks for totally messing up my weekend!!!!! Done with this bank......!!! Stay away from this Bank!!!!

I will never come to this bank or use this bank, they wanted to charge me $5 to cash a check written by them, all because i wasn't a customer.

An amazing group @ this branch especially! So helpful in understanding student savings account rates (students from age 13-25 get $1 for every A).
