The staff here are very warm and helpful, offering great suggestions and options! Even though it's only take-out for now, we really appreciate their kind spirit. We'll defintiely come back here now that we've found them!
Stopped in here for a snack on our way to the Toronto sign. They have limited options on Saturdays which was a bummer, but we still got some fried chicken and sweet potato fries. I also got a peach sparkling water drink, which was the star of the show. The fries were good, but it's hard to get that wrong. The chicken was... I don't know. It was chicken? Didn't stand out at all but I didn't hate it.
Honestly, food was subpar, but you get what you paid for. Price was decent for downtown. The worst beef noodle soup I've ever had soup was too sweet, noodle was overcooked, and beef was full of gristle. The milk tea itself did not have enough tea flavor, too; boba was nice and firm though.Food: 1/5
My partner and I were looking for a place to have lunch. Stumbled upon this gem and decided: we have to go back. The lunch special was great and the boba were excellent. They offer waffles and hot pot, which we're gonna try next time.Food: 5/5
This seems to be a popular place for their lunch sets, but I came to try the desserts. I wouldn’t particularly recommend the soft tofu options because they were fairly bland, but otherwise quite nice. I also ordered a sweet sticky rice with Q balls and that was delicious! Much more flavourful and even had Logan. The portions of the desserts are quite massive, perfect for sharing! Just a heads up, they don’t accept card for orders <$15 before tax.
ZenQ has Reasonable prices for their lunch boxes! I always get the Taiwanese popcorn chicken but today, I tried the smoked duck lunch box. Everything was delicious but I wished the kitchen would spend more time pulling out the feathers on the duck skin. It was off putting so I threw away the skin portions. If you order via UbetEats, you get to choose three sides. For $13.99, I think the value is great, the portions were enough to make me full. Right now, there’s a promo on UberEats, if you buy over $20, you get a free dessert!
I try to get takeout when they have the hot table open [which used to be lunchtime though that may have changed]. Hoping to stop by for sit down soon. I appreciate the variety of meat options but always make sure I get the eggplant side as well a tomato egg when they have it; likewise the 'pickled' vegetable garnish.
The food is very good and pretty decently authentic as Taiwanese food in Canada goes. However, there are discrepancies at time regarding portions and components of the side dishes for the bento. A plate shouldn’t feel like part of it is empty. However, overall it was a good experience but perhaps installing double doors so cold wind doesn’t come in would help a lot for those sitting close to the door.
"Pretty average" is how I would describe this place. The combo prices are cheap, but the quality of my meal was nothing special. The tofu was hard and didn't taste fresh. The chicken was okay; not crispy or flavorful as other places. Overall, it was decent for a quick bite but there are so many other options in the area.
Always here for the all day Combo! 1 main with 3 sides, comes with a drink too. Their popcorn chicken is delicious with some spicy powder on top! The eel on rice is also delicious! Have to try their personal hotpot next time!
