Zellas

My boyfriend and I went here for an anniversary dinner last week and it was my first time. Excellent dining experience, despite it being quite busy for a Thursday night. I ordered the pasta primavera and my boyfriend got the steak (which he has had before and raves about all the time), and we both got a half wedge salad. My pasta dish was delicious, fresh and surprisingly light. My boyfriend's steak was so tender that he could cut it with his fork! I also absolutely loved the wedge salad! The bleu cheese dressing that comes on it is to die for! Besides the great food.. the venue is stylish, yet cozy with its mood lighting and fireplace, they provide live music on certain nights (we loved the acoustic duo playing the night we were there), and our waitress was pleasant. This isn't a cheap place to eat dinner, but if you appreciate food quality, you'll see no problem. I've found the saying "you get what you pay for" to be true in many cases, and this is one of them. I will definitely be returning here.

Tried out Zellas for a late dinner while visiting Hutchinson. The menu options were the most interesting of all the local places we scoped out. The interior of the restaurant was neat - a huge location with very tall ceilings. The food was okay, but not as good as I had expected based off other reviews. The service was a bit disappointing — when asked about different dishes the response was always "it's really good" without any additional detail about the dish itself. And I had to ask a couple of times to get water refilled. Other people in the restaurant seemed to be having a good time and enjoying themselves though.

Zella's is great. They try to introduce new items to their menu frequently. It's fine dining and different. the only place I can get good fish around here.

Zellas is a wonderful place to go and has tasty food with a quality that isn't really available anywhere else in town. We stayed past closing by accident and we weren't hurried out.

Great atmosphere, wonderful food options, and the staff is fantastic. I wish there were more eateries like this.
