Live music, excelent food, cool staff. What else do i wanted for my weekend. This is called Shandiz. I loved it.
I've been a customer of Zeitoon restaurants for a while now but recently I've had the worst experiences not even once! in the port moody branch! The quality of food here is worst that other two branches. But worst than that is how the owner treats people. My experience: A month ago I ordered food via "skip the dishes" which was a mistake. Long story short, I had missing items on my order and when trying to fix it, I was over charged for a few other items and was treated as if I'm exaggerating. I assumed it's a misunderstanding and sent the owner a private message explaining what happened because I don't like to give bad reviews if not sure. They knew my name and the next time I ordered online via skip the dishes where they have a free delivery policy for orders over $20, after my order was placed, they changed the maximum amount for free delivery to $30 and charged me another $5. It was after I confirmed my order with free delivery! Unfortunately, even "skip the dishes" can't do anything about this and the restaurants can make this change after the order has been placed. I can't even accept that this was a coincidence and not intentional. Very disappointed!
We came to celebrate my partners birthday and were provided a warm and friendly service. The food was absolutely amazing, the kebab was great and we enjoyed our time here so much with there live music and belly dancer. The Kebab platter was incredible! Would definitely visit again and i highly recommend this place!
Celebrated my friends birthday last weekend. The service was absolutely horrible. We were a group of 25 and they had tables all connected with only one tiny opening that even some of the young children couldn’t get through. They squeezed us all in and it was so uncomfortable and almost impossible to get up from our tables to chat with other friends sitting at the end. I can’t believe how many tables they squeezed into that restaurant and good luck trying to get around to the bathroom. The food was mediocre. And to top it off our server was walking by with the meat platter and spilt half of the dish with hot liquid on my friends back. The best part is she didn’t even apologize!!! I’ll definitely be reporting them to food and health board. Will never return!!!
The Port Moody branch is one of the worst experiences I've had so far. I tried to like this restaurant after even the first time when they didn't let us in at 9 pm while on their door and on Google they mentioned that they were closing at 10. We had guests from US with us it was unacceptable. The second time I ordered food via Doordash and drove more than half an hour to pick up the food. It was 7 pm and they were fully closed while the order was processed and my credit card was charged. I called their number and nobody picked up the phone. This was one surreal disgusting experience I've ever had with a restaurant. Very bad and irresponsible customer service without any respect for clients. Overally the food is fine that I have had other times here.
This past weekend was my first time visiting, I didn’t know weekends there were so packed but they managed to seat me at the bar. I started conversing with a very friendly gentleman, little did I know he was the owner, I felt very welcome and upon hearing it was my first time, the owner took the liberty of bringing me many samplers and items to try on the house. Extremely generous and hospitable, goes to show not all business owners are penny pinchers. Cheers my friend and next round of drinks are on me.
I must say this place is the only place I can compare their persian stews to my mom’s cooking, best home cooked meals, very authentic, quite nostalgic, felt like I was in Iran again. The kebabs are succulent and moist and the portions are quite generous. Although I live in DT and am surrounded by other persian restaurants but this place is 100% worth the drive down any day of the week if you’re craving persian food. Hats off to the management
I am a long time customer since they only had 1 restaurant in North Van. The quality of food has drastically dropped in Coquitlam. We paid the premium fees for good food but now Zeitoon quality is worst then Kazba. For our meal today the mayecheh with the bageleh polo was not fresh and tasted very dry. The sauce was thick and salty. The shirazi salad was stale. The onions not fresh. This is how you lose customers.
Amazing food; amazing drinks, amazing service, amazing music, and extremely fair prices. Our server was awesome with checking in on us and constantly ensuring we were doing good! Thanks for an awesome night!
Everything is great at this place! I love their kabab Torsh its the best in the city ! They brought back live music which is great. Also the staff are all professional and provide excellent service. Thank you I had a great time.
