Zehrs

The produce department needs some attention. I find the quality of the produce on display substandard and it sees to be consistently so. I will only come to this Zehr's for produce (fruits and veg) if it is an absolute emergency and nowhere else is open. I think customers in the area deserve a better offering from a National Chain and not sub standard offerings. I keep coming back to see if it has improved and it doesn't seem to. Three items I was about to pick up last week were expired or expired that day so I didn't purchase them. I will say that the staff are very nice to deal with and I do frequent this store for non-perishables and it is always clean and well stocked in other area's.

This grocery store is horrible. Every time I go there I have to scrounge for stuff that isn’t mouldy or expired. You’d think with the prices they charge they would bring in fresh produce ! That doesn’t go bad one day after you buy it

Zero customer service. Wanted hot food. Was told it'll take 10 minutes. Asked if I could order, shop, and pick up un 10. Nope. They said other customers will complain. So I will not be shopping, and therefore zehrs will not be getting my money. Good job.

I hate to leave a negative feedback for any business but 3 straight bad experiences need to be something that requires that i post this. Being a person of colour i feel absolutely unwelcome at this store. Now that can just be my perception but I have never felt like that at any other stores in Alliston. And i have lived in southern US STATES. 1st experience when the lady at the take out counter thought i was invisible. The second time when i was not allowed to pick a pack of mints from the checkout aisle cause it was 13th item and they had a strict 12 item per fast lane policy. The third time when I was rudely told (i didnt know zehrs does not pricematch) that i should try walmart if i need to pricematch. Thanks, but i might just do that from now on.

I asked for the, $10, 1 entre and 2 sides meal deal they have advertised at the meals to go stand. The kid was polite however had no idea what that was or how to serve it. Asked the girl who also was behind the stand about my simple order. She was polite but also has no clue. Seriously? Well instead of asking a co worker for help. They politely appologized and walked away.... well you wont see me in zehrs again. Where is Metro?
