We came up to check out the farmers market in Ridgefield....We were hungry and weren't sure if what so we checked out the local reviews...We chose this place but was disappointed. You walk in and it's a convenient store but you walk towards the right side of the building & into the "restaurant/bar" area. Super cute with all the sports memorabilia...Great Tap Options if you're into beer and menu options limited but deep fried isn't too bad. The service was not what I would expect since they were in the store portion except to bring us our order. The burgers were okay but presented well. Next time we are in the area, we will see what other options are available.
Stopped by for a deli sandwich. The place has an old-time Mom and Pop feel to it. Proprietors were friendly and chatty. The sandwich was far superior to what you’d get at a Subway or other chain franchise shop. Plus, you can eat at nearby Overlook Park. Nice.
Excellent burgers and fish and chips. Good variety of beers and ciders. The proprietor and his wifeDione are both very personable and knowledgeable about their products. The atmosphere is laid back..we originally ordered to go, but decided to eat in the tap room. A very pleasant surprise in downtown Ridgefield! Parking: Easy street parking.
It's nice to have a store and restaurant connected! Went for pizza and a pint and was surprised how many great beers were on tap! I expected the usual domestic, but there were great breweries and ciders on tap such as Fort George's 3 way, and Ciderboys strawberry magic. After eating I was able to go into the store and grab a 4pk of 3 way for home later! I would highly recommend.
First visit. Not just the only grocery store in Ridgefield to buy Guinness, but it's Extra Stout and cheaper for that beer even than WinCo. Apparently there are also 15 beers on tap to fill your growler, and a deli to boot. Will have to come back to try those out. Owners were friendly and seem genuinely nice. I hope to see their small-town business succeed.

Best hamburgers ever. Huge servings at fair prices. The owner, Tony, is such a nice guy. My husband loves their sandwiches and tots.
great selection and better yet great price on specialty items in Grocery. The deli is awesome as well. If you like a great burger I suggest the refuge burger with ham and avocado but I love this combo so I'm partial...its a mountain high!
