I was looking for a new restaurant to enjoy dinner with my daughter. A dear friend - an admitted foodie - suggested Zambistro in Medina. Only 15 or 20 minutes away, we decided we would give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised! Quaint and clean, the ambiance was very nice albeit a little too bright. The host and wait staff made us feel very welcome, we couldn't wait to see the menu. Our server, Chris, was very attentive every step of the way; answering questions and making suggestions. The star of the show, the food, did not disappoint! As my daughter and I drove home, she said "Dad we need to add Zambistro to the list." I agree wholeheartedly!
What a wonderful place to have dinner and cocktails. I really like the many options they have for dining seating. You have two out door areas to be seated at, one is on a balcony and the second is a igloo experience. The decor is simple but yet classy. Our server Kara did a great job explaining the menu, and I really appreciated her recommendations. I actually took her suggestion for dinner, and i am so glad I did. Looking forward to coming here again. Filet mignon- cook perfectly and seasoned just right..Every bite was tender and enjoyable Bistro salad- very fresh ingredients and I really enjoyed the creamy Parmesan dressing Espresso crème brûlée- nice subtle flavor of coffee. Loved the texture of the brûlée Cocktails- forgot the name but the cocktail was amazing
Zambistro and their team was the perfect choice for our wedding! We got married 3 weeks ago and people are still talking about how delicious the food was. The whole team was absolutely wonderful to work with and they were so attentive to our needs and questions. Our guests were absolutely thrilled they got both chicken and steak or their dinner and the desserts and late night snacks were devoured. The tasting before our wedding was also a perfect way to enjoy all of our food before the special day. We will definitely be coming back just for dinner at the restaurant!
Outstanding food and service. Rose was our server and she was equally knowledgeable and attentive. We did not have to ask for anything!! I had the salmon and my husband had the linguine and clam sauce, both were made to perfection and came out piping hot. Kudos to the chef ….. perfection.
My husband and are vacationing in the area and our hosts recommended Zambistro - are we ever glad we listened! Very nice and cozy, with flawless service attentive but not intrusive. Wonderful meals. Hubs had the Salmon and I tried their Pork Chop special of the night - both were amazing. Would highly recommend!!!
Went for our first time for our anniversary and did the igloo experience. It was absolutely amazing! From the food and service to the staff. I highly recommend! We drove 45 minutes from buffalo and it was well worth it! The best service we’ve ever received!
Tristan our server was excellent!! We were very well attended to, we enjoyed the seared salmon salad, a cesar salad with anchovies and shrimp that popped with delight in your mouth. Definitely a place to stop for a bite to eat. Vegetarian options: Many gluten free options to choose from
We came to Zambistro with a larger group, and we all enjoyed our food. The Lobster Pasta was cooked to perfection and was a reasonable portion. It all fell apart when it came to the staff and service. Our waiter never asked if we wanted refills and only filled up one glass at a time. We had to request everything such as drink orders, appetizer orders, refills and to go containers. He acted like he was being inconvenienced every time he had to perform basic duties. We felt very uncomfortable and not welcomed.
Don't bother making a reservation for an igloo here unless you know the weather will be perfectly clear and safe. The restaurant is unwilling to work with you to move the reservation even during extremely unsafe weather and driving bans, and will require that you pay an additional $100 deposit and lose your initial one. What a disappointing cash grab from a business that should know better.
Excellent service! Delicious food, prepared beautifully from fresh ingredients. Had a new cocktail, urbane and lovely French 75. Many more plant based choices now.
