Well , im here with a edit. After giving yummi house another chance , they must of changed some employies. I find ordering on the phone the staff has been friendly and helpfull . The food seems better then it was for a while. It always arrives at least after this second chance. Theres lots of other places now but i would like to support the yummyhouse because it has been there forever it seems. I remember ordering b4 my grown up kids were born. Thank you
We have patronized The Yummy House for many many years. Always enjoyed the food. Got an order last night - first time in several months. The food was especially delicious. The chicken balls were best ever. Obviously cooked in fresh clean oil. Thank you.
Awful customer service. Will NOT ORDER AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE! I tried ordering dinner here, wasn’t sure on the names of the dishes and was seeking some guidance from the worker to help me choose what I wanted. She was not understanding me and being rude on the phone. All I wanted was to order some dinner and spend some time with my kids enjoying a delicious meal and all I got was rudeness and coldness on the phone. The lady was saying I was playing games when I tried ordering a simple meal and she hung up on me and told me I could not do business with them. I am shocked of the level of unkindness from this restaurant. I spent 10 minutes just simply explaining that I just wanted chicken, noodles and broccoli or mixed vegetables whatever they had on their menu because I was not familiar with their menu. I called YOUNG CHOW GARDEN RESTAURANT and ordered what I wanted within 3 minutes, the lady at Young Chow Garden Restaurant, was a mazing and kind, and helped me choose what I wanted within 1 minute after explaining the food that I wanted. The food was amazing and delicious and fresh when I received it from YOUNG CHOW GARDEN RESTAURANT. I will not be ever ordering from YUMMY RESTAURANT!
Wow, so disappointed. Chow mein was flavourless with sprouts going brown already. Rice overcooked, dry and old. Honey garlic chicken wings amounted to a tablespoon worth of meat with a half pound of batter and a cup of sugar. I hate to write a bad review, but this was horrible, what a waste of 48 dollars. Who are you people giving them a 5 star review!? Even the fortune cookies and free dry noodles were stale.
I'm going to talk about their food first. It's amazing. It's tasty and I don't need to add anything like soy sauce to the rice. This is our now go to place 4 Chinese food. The reason why I gave them four stars is because when they are overwhelmed they don't seem to hire more people to help them out. Also the pretty weak on their timing, they'll say it's going to be 40 minutes and when you get there it's not ready and you have to usually wait a little bit longer. They say they're going to call you when it's almost ready but they don't.
I literally threw the food in the garbage as it all tasted like soy sauce was dumped into each dish, no other flavour other than oil. My kids refused to eat it and I could not stomach it. The Hot N Sour soup was literally egg drop soup with some sour flavouring in it... the General Tao tasted like BBQ sauce mixed with Ketchup. I will not be ordering from here again.
Terrible service. Waited over 2hrs for our delivery and when speaking to them asking when our order would arrive it’s like nothing to them oh well like wait. Trying to support small businesses locally and this is what you get people that don’t care. Will never order from them again, to bad there food is pretty good. Customer service sucks.
I will never order food from this restaurant again. They food had no taste. Absolutely no flavour. I don’t believe the chicken they put on the food is real chicken.
Always tasty. They make our Lo Main tailored to how we like it. Would recommend. Been eating there for three years now.
After being told about this place and being new to the area, I ordered dinner for delivery on a misreable rainy Tuesday evening. Their website is out of date and the prices are wrong so if you were expecting to pay $30.97 + $2.50 for delivery for dinner for 3 expect to pay $48. When asked I'm told website out of date. The delivery took 70 minutes which I guess isn't terrible, but it's not no 40 minutes or less. Now the food no complaints typical Chinese food take out, not the best I've had not the worst. I would recommend the business to update their website.
