I ordered online. The order came before scheduled ETA. STILL hot, the driver followed my suggestion to the letter. And overall the food was exactly what I was looking for. Rangoon, light and flaky, the crab sauce inside amazing; the veggies cooked but not over done... I can go on and on about how good it was. But I'm gonna leave the experience up to those interested in GREAT Chinese food and absolutely the only spot for fresh sushi. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!
This place is my favorite. Amazing food, very affordable. I always order their special rolls. I think I tried all of them by now and not a single one disappointed me. It's a tiny place so no way to eat inside but you can always see the kitchen and how they prepare the food. Cooks always wear gloves and everything is very clean and fresh.
Finally tried and not disappointed at all! Great tasting food and very affordable for the portion. Rangoon was the best I have had in a long time. Takeout is never as good as it would be eating in, but I am still beyond impressed.
Save your money!!!! I order sweet n sour chicken, and the dough was not cooked around the chicken, I ate batter. The orange chicken vegetables broccoli in particular was hard as a rock… the crab ragging was fried crust with cream cheese nothing to taste it should have been called cream cheese crust. the egg rolls were a cheeseburger!!!! ‍ If I wanted a cheeseburger I would have went to a burger place. This place by far in my opinion only was not good, under cooked food, weird egg rolls I will not be back.
Food is great for a takeout sushi place! Decent prices. Service is okay. Atmosphere.... well, it's takeout. LolFood: 5/5
There are always people ordering which means great turnover…which means always great sushi! Mostly takeout as there are only a couple of tables…but worth it. They also have some Chinese food which is also good but in my opinion their Japanese food is better! The udon soup is delicious. BUT…they also make a pad Thai which is pretty good as well. I guess I’m saying you can’t go wrong with whatever you order here!
This place was packed! But they were still timely with regard to how popular it was! The miso soup was nice and salty, the Philadelphia roll was creamy. I also had a nice spicy tuna hand roll and a small house salad. Everything was great! And well priced compared to other places around town.
I guess you get what you pay for. I went here open minded as I knew it was a new place for me. I love sushi and generally keep an open mind about new places. This place wasn't pleasant for my wife and I. The benchmark for me with sushi is the California Roll. These rolls were all small in portions and with the meat. The other benchmark for me is how do their crab rangoons taste? These were basically all cream cheese and they were undercooked. The most concerning part is the EGG SHELL MY WIFE FOUND. I wouldn't recommend anyone come here.
I've lived in Asia, and American Asian food is a bit different. Yum Yum does a great job considering Muskegon isn't the best place for sourcing hard to find Asian ingredients, and that makes the authentic flavors difficult to reproduce. The egg rolls are beef, and are stuffed full of it. Hands down the best egg rolls in town. The stir fry veg is very good, and a heavy load of broccoli, zucchini, carrot, onion, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. The garlic sauce isn't overpowering, and salt isn't the main seasoning. The sushi is quite good. The smoked Eel roll being my favorite, with the Dragon roll hot on its tail. Vegetarian options: Excellent and a HUGE portion. I'm not a vegetarian. I often buy the stir fry veg, and add meat to what I don't eat in the first serving. Parking: Plenty of parking in the large shared lot.
