You may not expect that an amateur bodybuilder could have such a passion for all things sweet! YUM is all bout turning expectations out the window. Owner Michael Gorenstein has loved ice cream and sweets his entire life, and some his best childhood memories are biking to the local candy store to methodically assess the candy selection before making his selects or standing in front of an ice cream cabinet drooling over the flavours calling out to him. This obsession for all things sweet and yummy was the catalyst in creating YUM. More than a candy store and vastly more than your typical ice cream shop, YUM is a celebration of yummy treats of all sorts.

Whether creating his own soft-serve or partnering with other local talent, Michael has curated everything you will find at YUM, and it is sure not to disappoint! With over 200 candies from around the globe, hard ice cream, soft-serve, bubble waffles, ice cream bars, and delicious coffee, YUM is unlike anything you have experienced before. It is a cornucopia of yumminess and your sweet tooth will thank you for visiting.

Such a cute place. And yummy treats! We had the salted caramel sundae and hubby had the strawberry shake. Highly recommend. Happy we found this hidden gem!
Yum Sweet Shop is such a fun dessert shop. It's very spacious and they have an unique assortment of candy that I can't find in the states. The ingredients in their floats are combinations of things I didn't even know could be mixed. I tried their rose milk shake and I was surprised that it was their rose milkshake because it wasn't overly pink like the photo. The rose taste is very subtle and the milk shake tasted more like a regular vanilla milkshake with a hint of rose. Honestly, I didn't mind because I don't like too many sweets. The milk shake is decently sized for the price.
The concept is cool: they have tons of candies in bulk, baked treats, and lots of ice cream flavours and ice cream-based concoctions sundaes, floats, etc. The staff is very friendly. I just came to try the ice cream, but was a little underwhelmed. It's not bad ice cream, but it pales in comparison to the quality offered by other ice cream shops in the city. Both of the flavours I tried Birthday Cake and a second flavour that I think was Salted Caramel Fudge but I can't remember the exact name were just very sweet and heavy without the richness of flavour to match, and not a lot of textural interest in flavours that I expected to have it. It was also more expensive than other ice cream shops for a smaller portion, and again, lower quality.
It was such an adorable place and I like the ambiance here very much. I enjoyed their treats and their sundae is really tasty. I love the sweet and rich flavor. You can find an amazing selection of candies, ice cream and other sweet treats here. The staff were also sweet and helpful. I love this place so much!
Yummy!! Lots of options from candy, to ice-cream, to floats and screamers ! I love the Mix and Match candy boxes you can choose from on the wall. The root beer float was DELICIOUS. The ladies that were working were so nice and sweet and showed fantastic customer service. Worth checking out ! I Will for sure be going back to enjoy some more treats !

Very cute candy store with lots of selection and some rare candies + sweets. We tried the ice cream but it was underwhelming. We had the cheesecake, bday cake, pistachio and salted caramel flavors but you really couldn’t taste the flavors much and it was very bland. Disappointed as it was 6$ a scoop and it was totally not worth it. Bulk candy is expensive too. Staff were very nice. They gave a skor fudge sample which was really tasty. Interior is very nice for cute photo ops.
What an incredible delightful and nostalgic stop. I wish I had my whole family here. The candy section was beautiful, fun, & festive with giant lollipops to small bubble gum, and everything in-between. The ice cream is creamy, home made and delicious. I tasted a half dozen flavors and loved each one. The cookiedough was great, Oreo fantastic and the Carmel pecan crunch to die for. The owner and people that work here were all super friendly too.
This shop is fairly good. Love the marshmallows and popcorn but their candy mix "best sellers" seems more like the candies that are not selling rather than the most popular. Pretty disappointing.
