I'm really grateful for this clinic. I called last-minute at the recommendation of a friend. There are limited medicentres open on Sundays and other places I've gone to in the past have had very long waits. The staff were very polite and understanding and managed to squeeze me in the same day. The doctor spoke very fast but I've had this same issue many times so I'm glad to have not spent more time than necessary on this.
I had to go here for a quick problem and the staff were great. The front desk girl was amazing. She was patient, genuinely friendly, and didn't make me feel like a nuisance for being there, which, in my experience, happens at every medical clinic I go to. Dr. Yue was great. He reminds me of a doctor I had when I was young. She was quick and to the point, and she knew what she was doing. I'm not sure how he would be at listening to long stories or all the information you want because I didn't have a long story or a lot of information, but his brain was quick to understand me and what I needed done, which I appreciated. The woman who helped treat me was amazing too. She was so friendly and such a contrast to many of the medical staff I have come across lately. I'll be back here for sure.
Went to this clinic for a walk in. Wait times said 15 minutes but on my drive over the wait time was then 45 minutes which was then past closing time. They were able to squeeze me in since it was a very quick appointment. The receptionists were both so friendly and nice to everyone that came in. The doctor I saw was quick and professional.
If only I can give 0 out of 5, this is just my worst walk-in clinic experience ever. They told me to wait for about 45mins-1hr and I did. However it took 2 hours until I got my turn. They called me and put me in a room but I had to wait there again for 20 minutes. All of this for a 1 minute talk with the doctor. What a waste of time.
After being declined to see a physician at 5 different medicentre locations and sent to other locations. the Belmont location let me in, and let me know that all medicentres are only accepting appointments only. But because they are full and I’ve been driving around the city since 2pm Dawn sat me down and called a bunch of clinics to see if they were still accepting appointments for the evening. Most were not. So she checked the virtual walk in program, and booked me in so I could get my prescription filled as soon as possible. I really appreciated her help and her kindness. She actually took the time to help me instead of just sending me on my way to another clinic thinking they might be open. I am extremely grateful for her help.
It's in a convenient location, also right next to DynaLife, Rexall Pharmacy, and many other businesses. Could use better signage when signing yourself in at the front desk though.
The fact that the phone is essentially left off the hook is completely unprofessional. No message explaining why, no voicemail, call just drops. In times of COVID, when appointments are necessary, it would be nice to not be left in the dark when trying to get in to have a prescription renewed. Are patients expected to stand outside in the rain or snow just to be told we need to wait an hour to see somebody? Seriously, it’s 2021. Updating your voicemail should be standard practice by this point.
I have used this clinic as my go to for all my family needs. Reception is phenomenal. Dr. Mok will be missed after his retirement and Dr. Yue is quick; to the point; Very diligent and straight forward. Everything from strep throat to Month of WCB appointments I would highly recommend!
My to go to clinic. Friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Very accommodating with scheduling times. Dr. Yue is very knowledgeable doctor, although he talks very fast but he is always on point with my health problem.
Booked an appointment for 11am, still not seen 45 minutes later, while the front desk seems to be prioritizing walk ins instead. Not impressed. Edit: at the hour mark I got up and just walked out, nobody even acknowledged me. If I wanted a noon appointment I would have made one, instead you guys wasted an hour of my life for absolutely nothing, and made me late for work. I WILL NEVER BE BACK.
