I am very thankful for our referral to Dr. Ewing at the Baker Clinic. He took a lot of time to speak with my son about his asthma and understand his triggers, management, and concerns. We left the clinic with a written out action plan and a confident understanding of how to manage asthma. The doctor also provided breathing exercises and practical tips for managing asthma. Thank you!
New admin staff for Dr. Raff is horrible. Because of incompetence we traveled 3hrs 1 way 6 hours total to arrive to an appointment when Dr. Raff wasn’t even in the office. Got “I’m not sure what happened” as an excuse without any reason or offer to reschedule. We lost on travel & loss of work. Our last appointment 6 months ago was along messed up as the time changed without calling us to confirm the time was ok to change. So frustrating.
Baker Clinic is in the Standard Life Building. It has a lot of medical services for people. They are a multi-disciplinary clinic located in the heart of downtown. They provide services to Edmonton and the surrounding areas in the field of Clinical Immunology and Allergy; Diagnostics, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. I came here with my wife as she had an appointment with one of the doctors. Reception is friendly and the waiting area is nice, clean and well lit.
I haven’t been to this clinic because I can never reach them . I tried to call them at different times but either no one pick up or I receive the message that the voice box is full. I don’t feel it is a place I can trust. They obviously don’t respect their customer’s time!
Dr Galante is heaven sent. He is super knowledgeable and just so very caring about his patients. We learn so much with every visit, and always always makes himself available when things come up with my son and whenever we have questions. My son is now 16months old and we just hope dr galante will be his pediatrician for many many more years to come.
When our beloved Dr. Z retired, the clinic left us hanging after going to his office for 8 years. No referral, we were treated like a nuisance. On top of that we finally found a doctor and they want to charge us to transfer our kids files. No class.
Dr. Lo is great but everytime I interact with his receptionist she is curt, cold and unfriendly. She always sounds like you are inconveniencing her by daring to call your own doctor and she hangs up on you with no warning. It makes the overall experience unpleasant. Update: I have been waking up choking and gasping every night for a few months now and suffering from constant daytime tireness. As is normal, I connected with a sleep therapy clinic and made an appointment for today. For the past two weeks, both I and a representative from the sleep clinic have been trying to get a referral faxed back from Dr. Lo ordering a sleep study in my home at my expense Which is just for diagnosis, Dr. Lo would be the one to order treatment. His receptionist is both curt and short with me everytime I call, no matter how polite I am. She knew that my appointment was today, and so did the doctor but each time I called she would only tell me or the sleep clinic rep. that the doctor just had to look at the chart. They had promised that the referral would be sent before my 2:00 pm appointment today when we called the doctor's office yesterday. No referral was sent and I went in for an appointment for no reason. The sleep technician called Dr. Lo's office during my appointment and for the first time was informed that I "shouldn't have self-referred" even though this is common in this type of situation. The sleep tech was also told that I should have made an appointment with the doctor to get this referral. If I had been told this any time I contacted Dr. Lo's receptionist over the past two weeks I would have made an appointment right away. So now I get to suffer through another week or two of this horrible sleep apnea, when it could have been dealt with already. Clearly neither the receptionist, or the doctor is inclined to be professional or courteous. I feel that this change of stance was due to my review of the receptionists poor customer service skills made one week ago. I will be seeing a new doctor and letting people know the treatment they can expect here.
Dr G. Radisic at the Baker Clinic is a stand-up Pediatrician with a wealth of knowledge. I have taken both of my boys there since birth and it's a pleasant experience every time. The front staff are exceptional as well, always finding time to fit in an appointment for urgent situations.
Dr. Radisic is a very knowledgeable paediatrician, and his nurse Christy is very kind, friendly and accommodating. He was my daughter’s paediatrician when she was hospitalized as an infant with RSV and still is, at age 13. He also oversees the needs of my nonverbal son who has moderate-severe ASD, which can also be a challenge. I also appreciate the extra education that Dr. Radisic provides during visits. We wouldn’t choose any other paediatrician!
His nurse is extremely rude and doesn’t treat people with visible minority fairly. Whenever you call for an appointment you never get something close. You have to deal with your sick child. the management is also very condescending.
