I have been dealing with YSSS for a year now. It was initially supposed to be a 3 month arrangement but my new home is continually delayed. Monica (at the main desk) has been so incredibly helpful I cannot thank her enough. Any time i have stopped by my unit everything is dry and secure. They have continued to honour my rate that was in effect before prices increased as I keep prepaying 6 months at a time. I am glad I opted for YSSS and am happy with their service.

I stored my contents from my home at Yonge street self-storage and the tenant from the unit beside mine was able to use a hook over the wall and steal things from my unit. When investigated by the staff, they agreed to the incident. The police said the tenant beside me would deny removing my items and the owner of the storage units seemed bothered by me even bringing up the issue. Word travels fast! Do not use Yonge street self-storage to store anything that might be of value to you! Terrible Business!

I had my furniture (contents of a 1bdrm apt) in storage at the location in Bradford. Upon removing my furniture I discovered my mattress and coaches were covered in mold. I immediately brought this to the attention of the attendant on duty; she took pictures and said she would relay the information to the owner. To my surprise renters insurance does not cover mold! The owner was very rude and insisted my furniture must have been wet before I put it in storage (not the case). He refused to compensate me for the damage or to put a claim through with his insurance. I have mentioned my story to different individuals who have also used the business and they mentioned having mold on their furniture also, again with no help from Yonge Street Storage. I would not suggest trusting your furniture here!!!
