Yokohama Japanese Cuisine

Baked Cheese Mussels, the name was seductive enough to make me order it. Along with it we tried the Tofu Sushi too. Superbly delicious, succulent and completely satisfying… The Baked Cheese Mussels just stole my heart.

Call it my love for food or typical temptation for Japanese food, but I happen to land in Yokohama. With friends and an eager stomach, I took a nice corner in the restaurant. Much to my delight, the décor was nice and the menu was promising. We ordered Miso Soup, Sweet Mango Salad, and the Yoko Super Pizza. They tasted awesome. Completely value for money and worth a second visit!

The hostess who brought us to our table was rude because we had a Groupon and didn't have reservations. I'll admit we didn't read the terms and conditions about having to make reservations but since they were not busy we asked if we could make a reservations right then since we were already there. She refused stating over and over again we needed to make reservations.. 4 hours in advance! Once I told her we weren't from the area she rudely told us she'd 'allow' us to stay. Throughout our meal I felt she was holding a grudge because every time she placed a plate down on our table she would slam it loudly. Horrible way to treat customers!

Expected more for the price, food quality is about the same as the other $20/person sushi places, how ever, the service quality here is below average. Would not recommend.

Food: 3.5:5 ok quality for all you can eat restaurant Variety: 4/5it’s good that they have a little Thai and Chinese skewers mixed in menu, weekend special menu are different than other places too. Service: 3/5 it’s very busy all the time and so no server can really take care of your missing orders, refill tea, taking drinks order...
