The food might be good but I wouldn't know. We sat there for 20minutes and nobody came to see us, bring us water or a menu. We simply got up & left and the hostess said "really sorry about that" but didn't really seem to care. Unimpressive service.

I rarely write any reviews anywhere but my experience this evening left me with a sour taste. The food was great. Our waitress was very nice... until she came to get the bill. After taking our cash payment, she came back with the bill & our money in hand, asking if what we left was what we meant to leave & if she had done something wrong. Obviously, she thought our tip was not sufficient. We said that yes, everything was to our liking & that what we left was actually what we intended to leave. So she asked again her initial question. She added that with what we left, she would have to add money to her portion of taxes so it would be like she was paying out of her pocket for our dinner! How rude & insulting! Firstly, we paid our entire bill... the police would not be chasing us down! Secondly, if the restaurant or the staff would like to guarantee their salary, they should include a mandatory tip in their bills, instead of running after patrons to put a specific tip amount. Very unnecessary & because of this embarrassing moment, we will no longer go to this restaurant.

This could have easily been a 4 star experience but unfortunately what started off as an agreeable evening went horribly left. The hostess from hell approached our table with the most despicable attitude to RUSH us off the table as the "next group" had arrived. Listen, I get that... entirely. But, it's all in your delivery! It was beyond insulting and we didn't even bother to finish our meal. This rating gets a 1 star solely thanks to the busboy who apologized repeatedly and agreed that the reception we received was not okay. If you ask me, don't even bother going here and opt for a better experience and flavor at "Seoul Chako" downtown!

Food was outstanding. Their table d'hôte for $35 is the best deal around if your not going for the individual sushi. Their house salad dressing is too die for! Next time I go, I'll have to try the all you can eat Korean BBQ!
