Sapore

I can't say enough good about Sapore restaurant. We hosted our engagement party with a guestlist of 65 and it was perfect. The food was phenomenal, the service was on point and the decor is so elegant. I expected the very best in food and service, but I was pleasantly surprised with how accommodating and helpful the owner was. The staff set up our party beautifully, which really left us feeling relaxed the morning of our event. The very best venue for your next small or large event. Stop searching and call Sapore, you won't be disappointed!

We hosted our daughter's baptism at Sapore and were very pleased. From beginning to end, everything was perfect! Drinks were on point, food was delicious and service was incredible!

This was the worst dining experience ever. We were a group of 25 people. Once we all arrived we had to wait an hour for someone to take our order. By then it was already 7:30 pm. There were also 3 small children. There was no bread on the table, finally they brought water. The waiter took our orders...still no bread. I went looking for the waiter who said that once he put the orders into the computer, the bread would be put in the oven and served. So we waited. The put the bread on the table (small buns) warm on the exterior and half frozen inside, however the butter that they put in the basket had all melted...oh well...could have been worse...oh wait...the appetizers arrive...fried calamari...cold...chicken nuggets for the kits...burned. Finally the main course...everyone was served except me. One of the waiters stood in front of me and ask "Did you receive your plate" As the saying goes, ask a stupid question....I replied, "do you see a plate in front of me?" He quickly says, oh...that's because we ran out of what you ordered. The head waiter quickly came to me and said, "no, it's because there was a glitch with the computer system and it didn't go through." Oh, ok, I said so what are you going to do about it? His answer..." we don't have what you ordered so you have only 1 option or you will have to wait longer for other dishes. I lost it... the person in front of me ordered red snapper $35 and it was cold, the person next her ordered pasta with and asked for spices and never received it. My husband ask for cheese for his pasta and was told that they don't "RECOMMEND" cheese with a spaghetti with red sauce and clams...seriously??? Recommend..yes...still my choice... I decided not to eat anything and left as soon as dinner was over. There was no apologies from any of the waiters to the me or the other guests. Did not offer to replace any dishes....nothing! It was a birthday occasion, so the person who organized brought the cake. The restaurant was aware of this but, I saw that there were no plates or utensils any where...well the waiter had to go and ask permission...finally the brought them. No one ever asked us if we wanted anything to drink and no one offered us coffee. Total nightmare!!!
