This place is amazing. Food comes fast, very reasonably priced, and delicious. The owners were friendly and recommended great options. The drinks were also a good pairing to go with the aromatic spices. From the unassuming door leading to a nice interior decor to the water from a jug, we had lot of fun here. The bread was amazing and you just couldn’t stop eating. Looking forward to my next visit!

Had an amazing experience here! The food was phenomenal and so fresh. The rice was a bit dry but the great fall off the bone meat made up for it. The fish was super fresh and their bread is amazing. The service was great and the staff was super nice! Definitely recommend! :

First time but definitely not the last! We were a group of 4 and the host politely offered a drink on the house for our first visit. This was a pleasant surprise to an amazing meal. We shared 3 larger dishes and one smaller one and it was the perfect amount. All the dishes were delicious, well prepared and perfect for sharing. No doubt that we will be back very soon!

One of my favourite restaurants in the city! Flavour is always amazing. The only complaint is the service to be honest. Had to wait a while to just get a cup of water or plates. But the food is so good that I can overlook it.

Located in a little house, once you're inside the decor is cute. Food comes super fast. We ordered the lamb but they had just run out so we got a suggestion from our server for what is popular and she suggested the beef. Everything was delicious! The restaurant itself was quiet, but phone and delivery orders were going off constantly. It sounded like a lot of people were ordering takeout for iftar, which we took as a good sign! The soft white beans are a must, they came in a bubbling hot bowl and had amazing flavour. I want to eat nothing but this bread until the end of time.

This is my go to place with Friends for dine in and take out during work. Amazing place, exceptional customer service. Taste of Mandis are well cultivated. I went twice after. Went again today to try their Yemeni Egg and Yemeni Tea. It was the first time I experience a smoky flavour in an egg. Generous portion size. Tea was exceptionally well as a tea lover. Cardamom and cinnamon was blended well. My friend ordered Yemeni Dark Roast, it was a good to have a strong kick. I was having intense desire of Lamb Mandi and Fish for long time and we had yesterday. Both cuisines were delicious and I couldn’t resist myself. I felt that I haven’t ate for ages. Strong recommendations. Everything is Halal.

If you haven't had food from Yemen before. Similar to most Arab cooking the food at this restaurant was delicious. My friend and I we enjoyed the the lamb which was served over a bed of rice, and a dish called charred beef, which was sliced beef pieces cooked to a perfection served only with a large freshly baked yemeni bread, which looked like a large baked pita bread. It was delicious! Our water was delivered to our table in a clay bottle, it came with two plastic cups. Not sure why plastic was being used perhaps this is the post coronavirus era. Nevertheless the water tasted delicious as well! The value for the food that you order is outstanding, it's not cheap and it definitely is not expensive. The restaurant is small but personable. I encourage anybody who hasn't dined here before, to give it a try. 100% you will go back for more. Enjoy!

If one is looking for authentic yemeni food at great quality and price then this is definitely the spot to dine in. Didn't look very inviting from the outside but it is quite spacious inside with ample seating. Friendly staff, efficient service, reasonable serving times and large portions. Highly recommended!

Amazing food at Yemeni Village. We got the milk teas which were good to start. The Yemeni bread was delicious. The fish dish was superbly cooked - perfectly flaky and seasoned. The lamb was also excellent. It got very busy and the servers did as well as they could managing the take out and dine in.Food: 5/5

Our dish was not warm enough, seems it was prepared beforehand and just warmed to serve. Beef kabsah was spicy and tasty but lamb mandi's rice was undercooked without spices. The portions were very generous. One dish was enough for a couple. Staff didn't check on us at all. Just took our order, brought it and left. Decoration was nice but at the entrance there were some cardboard boxes that I made me think we came through staff door not the main door. The building is so old. We had an ok experience overall but since it was 4.8 rated expected much more.
