I have been going to their Saturday auctions for years. They have been great to deal with and I have bought a lot of cool items from their auctions ranging from bulk groceries to a fabulous Hamilton railroad pocket watch made of gold. You never know what the folks at Yellowhead have.
Building isn't prestine and the chairs have mystery stains, but that adds to the thrill of getting good deals here. I love it!
I bought a new gorgeous Natuzzi Pure Leather Sofa here for under $300 worth $3,200+.....love it!!!!!!!!! Every time I sit on it I say 'thank you yellowhead auction'. Love you guys!
One of my favourite things on a Saturday. Lively atmosphere, awesomely friendly and helpful staff. Love this place. Update, please be aware of the stuff on auction in recent times. Non functional electronics are being sold with working electronics as a package, also.. keep track of your bidding.. if you accidentally double bid, they don't remind you, they just go with your second bit. Still love the place but a tad bit disappointed that they sold me a non working Harman Kardon and charged me $550 when my previous bid was $500 and no one else was bidding but I was a bit confused and did a double bid.
Big place. My first time there. Concession slow moving. 10 min for a pop n cheese burger. Fast registration taking. Huge place and has great movement and flow.
Been to this auction multiple times. Continuously gets worse each time we go. From the lack of professionalism and the rude comments that the owner and Auctioneer make regarding the customers that are there in attendance. To the food items that are way beyond their shelf life. Our only reason for going is for Saturday morning entertainment.
I have been to this auction few times. I think most of the guys working with the auction are nice and friendly guys. However, there is a lady that usually picks calls when you call in. Apart from being a racist, she doesn't have manners. She is as rude as a pig. She was the one picking calls on September 5, 2017 between 12 noon and 1 pm on this date. She should be taught how to treat people equally and stop dropping calls on people.
Great stuff and friendly people. One problem, though, when they start selling food, it seems like it will never end. So if you aren't too interested in buying food, you'll get a bit bored.
Items sell for fairly cheap although finding something decent is few and far between. I purchased several machines/tools and they were badly damaged. Buyer beware on anything with a motor and moving parts.
The best auction town, I have found many treasures there. The buyers premium is on the high side but there are bargains to be had. I have had my best buys here.
