Wanted to try out this BBT place since it opened up not too long ago. The place is hidden away in the small tunnel next to The Best Shop, space is pretty small so it's a grab-and-go shop maybe after dinner/shopping in the area. They make their own tapioca in-store and it's pretty good and chewy. They have some fruity flavors if you aren't a fan of milk tea and going with friends. I ordered their signature brown sugar pearl milk. It was light, foamy at the top, a bit sweet and the tapioca was still very warm. Prices are around the $7+ range and some drinks can be ordered hot/cold. Before leaving, remember to pick up your fortune slip, it adds a little fun to the visit.
To start, I don't normally leave reviews. I have gone to many different bubble tea place over the last couple years. Never have I been to this franchise before. I was in the neighbourhood to pick up food, so thought I will get some bubble tea on the way home. Stopped by to get some. First of all, they were very welcoming, it felt cheerful, the staff looked happy and wanting to make my drink. Even gave me recommendations because I never had bubble tea from here. I don't often visit the same place more than twice. This bubble tea place, I have come almost 3 to 4 times a week. I have had their ice creams and slowly making my way through the menu. I am so glad that I stopped by that night. They were getting ready to close. I didn't feel rushed to pick something, the team was super nice and made my drink with love. Currently my favourite drink is the soda and handmade jelly, the signature drink HOT, and the bunny jelly mango smoothie. I work at a Starbucks cafe, and to come to a bubble tea shop that has a friendly environment and efficient team that makes your drink with love, makes me want to keep going back. Even if it's out of my way. I know they just opened, they are worth trying out. Also on another note, for a bubble tea shop that works with brown sugars, it's looks so clean, and in the winter with all the snow and salt, it doesn't look like it's winter outside. Clean shop makes me feel confident in the quality of my drink. And no matter who makes my drink, it always tastes as magical and creamy as I remember it from that night. Keep up the magical experiences guys! I wish you all the best!
The manager who served us recommended a few drinks, and I was torn between them. In the end, I went with strawberry pearl milk because he said it was one of the best options. My friend ordered brown sugar pearls dalgona coffee with milk. It's a lovely and welcoming environment. It was fascinating to watch boba pearls being created right in front of your eyes. My friend and I also played the fortune game that was placed in the corner near the cashier. We had so much fun that we did it a second time. We are able to save our fortune messages too! I really love my drink and I'm glad the manager helped me pick from the menu. I'm definitely coming back!!
Great bbt location to check out! I tried the original ice cream with brown sugar tapioca - the soft serve was delicious and just sweet, and the tapioca was very good. The tapioca are made in store and had great consistency and flavour. My cousin got the milk tea ice cream - the soft serve was a bit more on the bitter side something to keep in mind. The store itself is cute and also had a draw for fortunes when we came. Would come back to try the bubble tea drinks!
It has the best pearls in town, fresh, soft and chewy! Good quality bubble milk tea, coffee and mango drink. The pink pearls are hard to find anywhere else. The lady there is super friendly and welcoming, taught me how to use the Chinese Fortune Sticks, fun to play!
As far as bubble tea shops go, XFT is a must try for those on the fence. Ive frequented the other locations on the East end and the quality is top notch here too. A renowned shop from Taiwan and it’s great to see Mississauga finally having a location in a very central, convenient location. Lots of parking in the back lot - this shop is located under the lane way / across from Owl of Minerva. Open quite late as well, perfect dessert spot after a nice meal at one of the nearby establishments. All of their drinks are handcrafted and tapioca made fresh in store not the run of the mill stuff other stores serve. Went during the soft opening as well as the grand opening last week and quality was consistent - consistently delicious! Ordered the mango smoothie first visit and signature on the second - highly recommend both. Store is very clean, staff are knowledgeable and highly professional, will definitely come back for their soft serve ice cream soon. Don’t forget to grab a fortune while you wait for your drink!
Excited they decided to open one in Mississauga. This one is located further into the Golden Square Centre plaza, past the Owl of Minerva place into the little enclosure. The lineup wasn't too long and the service is quite fast we had good timing, it seems. They had a BOGO promotion Dec 11th&12th for their grand opening and we got the Signature Brown Pearl Milk. The tapioca pearls were so fresh and chewy, and the cheesy foam on top was amazing. It was $1 to upgrade to a large so I'd say it was a good deal. They also had this station where you can get your fortune for the year, which was a nice treat. Will definitely come back to try their milk tea soft serve offerings next time!
If you haven't tried Xing Fu Tang, I would highly recommend this place. This is one of the few bubble tea stores I've been to with staff who seem to truly care about what they're doing. Some places you go to, the staff seem disconnected and are just working a job to punch in and punch out. But not here, the staff here you can really tell they enjoy what they do and want to help when you ask them things. Oddly enough I started coming here in January while I was on a Keto diet. The great thing about this place is the drinks are made with quality ingredients. The best way to describe them is, everything is REAL. And their drinks are not overly sweet to begin with and you can customize sugar levels. Their toppings and fruit are fresh, you can tell they were just cut/prepared that morning or just a few hours ago. And you can see their tapioca is made fresh in store not pre-bought. My go to's while on Keto were their Fresh Lime Tea and their Fresh Grapefruit Green Tea. I'd get them both with zero sugar. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful, I was comfortable asking them about what goes into their drinks so that I could find a drink option that wouldn't take me out of ketosis. Happy to say I was successful in achieving my goal on Keto, and a big part of that is because I was able to stick to my diet while being able to enjoy bubble tea. Bubble tea makes people happy! I get a drink every day and have been keeping the weight off. So if you want to lose weight come here and get a drink every day. Also their soft serve ice cream is AMAZING! Definitely my favourite item to get to treat myself. Also check out their fortune box in the corner, it's something fun to do while waiting for your order.
What a treat! I got the lactose-free Brown Sugar Pearl tea and it was at least top 3 bubble teas I've ever tasted. Somehow they're able to combine a cool sweet drink with warm, soft, FRESH pearls and the fusion is just magical. You really have to taste it to understand. In and out in 6 mins flat -- I timed it! So it's quick AND quality. If you're on the fence about visiting, don't be. This is quite possibly the next Boba shop in Sauga. Oh, and they are melanin-friendly if you know what I mean -- which can be rare among tea shops. Really, you can't get better than this spot! I had to tip big to encourage more of this I'll definitely be back!
My absolute favourite BBT place. I'm obsessed with their brown sugar pearl anything. The milk tea soft serve is to die for. And their milk tea float option is the best of both worlds. The place is clean and nice. I love the fortune sticks as well and I always look forward to every visit.
