Wright Park is excellent for strolling, getting in some walking exercise, and even enjoying the colder seasons on a nice day. Will come back in summer to see what the vibe is like. •̀ᴗ-و ̑̑
This park is a little gem in the heart of Tacoma. The trails wind through the space nicely and off a "your of trees." Many have name plaques along with the date planted, which is a nice touch. There's a little duck pond water feature and various game spaces as well as a playground for kids. Plenty of trash cans abound and the park felt quite clean. The restroom was open and clean. This park offers a nice place to enjoy Tacoma.
Quiet, beautiful and reflective place to visit. Historical building that will make you want to go back in time a bit. It's in the middle of a larger park in Tacoma that can also be enjoyed.
Beautiful, large park full of giant trees. I created this 9”x12” of a lovely Japanese maple that looked like fall colors with its spring growth. JonBradham.com
Historical site! The trees over 100 years old! It has a little bit of every thing for everyone, kids, walking a dog, relaxing, picnics etc. Definitely a must.
Great place for the kids. The water has been on lately.i don't know how long it will be on but, it's great for all ages for a stroll or, to take your dog for a walk. Pretty safe during the day but. After dark you got to be careful.
Great park to escape the hospital if you have a loved one admitted. Watching the kids play in the water was perfect for distressing when my sister was in the hospital for 5 days
Opened in 1890. This beautiful, historic park is the perfect place for a long walk, a nice lunch with the duckies, or simply time spent re-energizing. It's a gorgeous old park with old trees, a water park, and a gravelly path to stroll. The ponds have large goldfish and a few little turtles. They've added several port-a-potties, recycle and trash bins, presumably for the summer. This is a great place for a cook-out. And hang out with baby duckies.
A very excellent park. Well maintained. Greenhouse on site. THE TREES HAVE PLAQUES ON THEM TELLING ME WHAT THEY ARE. GENIUS.
A Hidden Gem. Genuinely one of the nicest Parks I have been to. The conservatory is particularly gorgeous
