Wow! Wing House

Decided to give this wing spot a try after driving it by it for years. Got the Markham special with Spicy BBQ and a side order of a dry rub wings. The wings were over cooked and dry. The breading on it was almost chewy. Seasoning was salt heavy, really didn’t taste like chicken. The best part of the meal was the chili onion fries. Sauce was creamy paired with red onions. Not sure why my experience was this poor as the other reviews made it sound great.

If you love their Jaffna fries as much as I do, you need to order the Van’s Favourite - basically Jaffna sauce on wings! So much flavour, super saucy and the chilies give it a nice kick. Didn’t realize it was a takeout only spot so we ordered our wings and enjoyed the nice weather outdoors while munching on our wings watch out for bees!. Only gripe is you can still find chicken hairs on some of the wings, which can make some people squirmy.

Reallly love their jaffna fries!!!! If you’re a spicy lover you’d really enjoy them! Various flavors to choose from for the wings. We’ve tried the hottest ones, super spicy but had a really good taste to it. Highly highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some spicy wings and fries!

I made a phone order at this place and the cashier who took my order heard my order incorrectly. After I paid is when i found that she charged me for 1 pound wings instead of the onion rings that I asked for. When I asked for a refund and to order the onion rings, she said no as i already paid and the food was made. After that, i just took what i paid for. Apart from that, the jaffna fries was cold and was not fresh at all. The wings looked good tho but still cold. I will not recommend this location and if you decide to go here, please ask the cashier to repeat the order as i see this happens often.

I went with my partner today and we came across a special that was posted on their window called the "Mini Markham special". This includes half a pound of wings, a can of pop and a side of chili onion fries for $7.95. Their original special, the "Markham special" is very similar with only an additional half pound of wings more for almost double the price at $15. With that being said, it's definitely a lot better to get the Mini Markham Special if you can, as the difference between the two meals isn't much. We decided to get the Cajun flavor for the original and the Devil's Ranch for the mini. The cajun was seasoned perfectly and the Devil's Ranch definitely has a kick of spice to it. The chili onion fries tasted great, but it was quite heavy. Definitely not the best I've had, but still pretty good to fulfill my empty stomach. If you are in a time crunch, don't mind the limited flavors and need somewhere cheap to eat between the hours of 11AM-2PM, I would definitely recommend coming here for their Mini Markham special as it only took 10 minutes to prepare.

I used to order from this place once every few months for the last couple years. They won’t have another penny from me for the following reasons: - Bad customer service. - Questionable practices through Uber eats. - Slow to send off your order when the fries clearly aren’t fresh soggy each time but the wings are fine thus why I stopped ordering the fries. ** I’d rather support small businesses that appreciate your service than the ones that simply don’t care about improving their business as a whole.

Am a regular customer for their jaffna fries but lately the fries aren’t as fresh and the portion seems lesser with price increase smaller box as well. Ordered chili onion wedges and they gave me just regular wedges while charging me for the ones I ordered. Thought it's fine I'll just call them, they wanted me to come back and get new ones when I live very far away.... asked them to send via uber eats or leave a credit on my phone number but they said it wasn't possible. I've never had bad experiences with wing places before this one. Guess I'll just go to another spot. very disappointed. 0/10

If you’re looking for the most delicious breaded wings in Scarborough/Markham... this is the spot. I got the spicy garlic parm which was amazingly creamy! The Jaffna fries had loads of toppings and a little bit of spice! Oh and not to mention the fries are massive, Deff enough for 2!!
