The most amazing customer service and great food for this super tiny town deli!! They were really accommodating made fantastic sandwiches and went ABOVE and beyond for us when we just mentioned we were going on the river - beautifully taking the time to wrap everything so it would be water proof and were so kind Definitely recommend hitting this spot on your way into town!
Couldn’t help but notice this woman was not wearing a hat. Also during times like this when masks are required by Everyone, both employees were not wearing one. Was given attitude by them and the man kept stopping while making my sandwich to take bites of his own food. I was so disgusted I had to walk out. This is not a place to get food. Especially if they can’t follow simple guidelines such as wearing a mask or even a hat. These are health violations and I will not return due to each reason listed above. Please consider going elsewhere.
They have truly developed their name into port jervis and have gained a reputation of making delicious sandwiches.
Sandwiches are a must. Nice size portion not cheap with meats. Definitely a place to go, won't be disappointed
Stick to the deli & breakfast sandwiches. I sent my daughter in there a few days ago to get some cold cuts & to see if they had the Boylans Creme soda. This is a fav in our family & before it was $6.49, either for a 4 pack or 6 pack I truly forget the size of the pack we started buying 4 packs at Walmart for $4. But she was there & we were out so I said go for it ! She gets rung up & a 4 pack of SODA cost $9.00. That’s insane, her & I truly believe she was rung up wrong, almost $10 for a 4 pack of soda ? A 4 pack of alcohol I’d understand but soda. I know my daughter so she bought it to not cause a hassle but never again.
Best sandwiches I have ever tried. They are like $8 and some change but soooo worth the price. I got full with just half of a sandwich. That's how big they are. And it also came with a tiny container with potato salad. Not sure if they always come with a sandwich or if they were just handing out some samples but it was delicious too. I really recommend it.
Excellent food and service. I recommend ALL if their deli sandwiches and subs. Also, their home made salads are delicious. Rice pudding fans? They make a mean batch in house. Enjoy!
Is there anything better on a hot day than cool fare and friendly service? Perhaps not. And that's exactly what you'll experience at this establishment. If you're looking for a nice vegan sandwich then this may just be the stop for you. With your selection of tortilla wrap you can get a delicious vegan sandwich with hummus roasted red peppers cucumbers lettuce onions and your choice of balsamic vinaigrette or just oil and vinegar. There's no seating for date night, but if you're trans you are definitely welcome.
My father and uncle grew up with the owner and they are very good people. I love going there they are very kind and generous. Their sandwiches are well made and generous with the toppings I would recommend it to anyone
Part of my route each day is to stop and see Dan and get Breakfast. The Coffee is so much better than anything around, coffee shop quality at a deli. His sandwiches are delicious and his famous Gunslinger is our favorite!! You will not be disappointed if you order your lunch here.
