Woods Lake Park

Beautiful area to watch some wildlife. The walking area is very small. They do have a playground for kids and a very small sand area.

Location. Location. Location. This is not South Haven but it's very close to my home. And it's a pleasant place to take a quick dip if you are not adverse to a few ducks and weeds. One does have to navigate a steep set of stairs although there is now another way to get in if you are disabled. I love this place because of the convenience and the fact that the patrons are easy going and create a pleasant mood. It's a great place for children. See above photo of little playground. Thus, if you don't want children around this probably isn't your place except for early weekday mornings. There's ample parking, bathrooms and right across the street! You have Water Street coffee shop where you can enjoy an outdoor beverage, a Subway sandwich shop and SawalIs health food store Not for everyone but just right for some,

This is a nice little park close to home. I enjoy the little beach in the summer! My children love the playground and it has a nice trail to walk. Perfect little stop for picnics or just to blow some energy! Parking is next to the road and you have to walk down stairs, but that's not a problem for us.

The lake is in a convenient location and has new facilities. Unfortunately it can be a little rough with the patrons. And the lake is full of bacteria that can be very harmful. But free and great location can override the negative aspects. Just promptly shower upon returning home.

Nice beach area with places for fishing. Nice playground for kids. Benches everywhere to just sit and relax.

I had my son's Birthday party here. It was peaceful, quiet and beautiful! Got to see a momma and baby swan, plus the daddy!

We love this beach!!! Not only is it free to enter and swim they have a nice playground. And a nice cover seating area with a grill. It a all around great place. We visit almost everyday

Great spot when clean, was very dirty on the beach and in shallow water. Needs cleaned up, I'd volunteer if you have certain days for the public to help clean up these inner beauties all around us, let's clean them up folks, do your part
