I had a fantastic experience with Woodopolis. We needed to have our kitchen lights replaced and from the quote to the installation everything was smooth, stress-free and the service was top shelf. As a recently retired individual, I found the price to be reasonable and the service exceptional. If I have future needs, I will definitely be using them again.
I'd like to start by saying this year we installed 2 kitchens & 3 bathroom cabinets. The second kitchen & bathroom cabinets we purchased was from Woodopolis. Customer service was #1. The quality of the cabinetry that Woodopolis installed was superior to the previous cabinets we purchased elsewhere. The bathroom cabinets had a beautiful finish and included: bathroom sink, faucets & mirror at no additional charge! In addition we saved money by purchasing our cabinets at Woodopolis!!! Tracy from Woodopolis offers a "one stop shop". We continued our renovations with: wall tiles, floor tiles, laminate & carpet flooring! Tracy's team of experts get the job done. When you are thinking of reno's visit Woodopolis first. They also offer an onsite visit to measure your cabinet area at no charge. Other companies I had contacted charge $200.00 to come and measure your space which will be deducted if you purchase their product. Thanks Tracy we are very happy we found your store!!
The Woodopolis hardwood installer was a perfectionist, and we are very satisfied with the job and the price. We had shopped around, and they were very competitive. Our granite countertops are also beautiful. Tracy and Victor really care about their customers and their experience, and do everything possible to make the whole process go smoothly.
My wife and I brought an old house and we knew that we had a lot to do before we can moving. We are so glad we went to Woodopolis, we found everything we need under one roof, saved us a lot of time. Tracy the girl works there was really helpful. She helped we pick the laminate we wanted, Tracy went on the find us vinyl, carpet, back splash tiles, shower tiles, counter tops, etc. She guided us through the reno of a gutted five bedroom house, including ideas on how to put the laminate on the stairs. Tracy was a huge cheerleader when we were losing faith. She went so far as to help chose the paint colour, which we feel was above and beyond. I don't remember the name of the amazing man who installed the vinyl up & down, nor the carpet installer. I can tell you, however, that they were all diligent, classy people with lovely personalities. We love our new renovated house. Thank you Tracy. We will recommend Woodopolis to all our friends and families.
Woodopolis did my bath room renovation 3 years ago. They did not have direct hires. They subcontracted everything out. As a result a 2-week job could only be completed in 3 months. In Sept., 2019, the dry wall at the low corner next to and outside the standing shower base was wet damp and mold grew. Woodpolis came for a free inspection. The most frequent message I got was the long gone 1-year warranty on both material and workmanship which I knew very well, an industrial practice. The reason offered by Woodopolis for the mold : - condensing steam from the standing shower. What! hot steam would travel up the standing shower and then down to near the ground and condense at the bottom corner next to the shower base! Next came a quotation for a service inspection with camera scope........... I called in another inspection from a different company and the the culprit was cracks in the grouting between tiles and the shower base. Woodopolis claimed that the backdrop dry wall had been waterproof- treated but obviously both the grouting and backdrop dry wall failed in just 3 years. Some companies demonstrate excellence through respectful professionalism but some just want to make a living. 17Mar2020 - In fact, in Oct., 2019 I have re- grouted the cracks amongst the tiles. Since then, after the whole winter raining season, the mold stops and the dry wall becomes dry. All I need to do is to repaint the dry wall. Thanks a lot for your offer which I will not consider, even if it is free. It is not about money, it is confidence.
I needed custom cabinetry for my house which was under construction. Victor came and took measurements and discussed my needs. I was supposed to get a quote within 48 hours, it took almost a week. After I approved of it and provided a deposit, it was supposed to be only 3 weeks before installation would start. It took 6 weeks of them not returning my calls before I was eventually referred to someone else, who needed another 3 weeks before he could start working on the job. Luckily, they did not cash in my deposit, but I was extremely disappointed by the waste of time, the lies, the lack of communication. Terrible service overall.
Our bathroom reno had issues from the start. Multiple plumbing issues, one that caused leaking to the floor below when toilet was not installed properly. Shower tile cracked when they tried installing the shower panel. Tile flooring creaks because the plywood sub-floor was not nailed down or replaced which is a constant reminder every time we enter. No follow up on how the job turned out. A two week job turned into two months.
You would think a small privately owned business would differentiate themselves from Home Depot and the big players by offering top notch service. Not here! Did a special order, half the stuff showed up. Then they tried to enforce a 25% restocking fee when I asked to cancel the back ordered items that I had to source out somewhere else to meet my deadline.
I just had my kitchen renovated, and I’m so happy with the way it all turned out! Wow! What a difference! Tracy was super helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I definitely would recommend them. Thanks for everything!
