I went in for lunch and had to make sure it was open as the lights were dimmed and no one was inside the front when I got there. Inside I ordered a meal with double chicken but when I received it I don’t feel like it was a double chicken but it sure cost like it did. The staff, when they come out to the front we’re friendly. I used the washroom while waiting for food and saw how filthy is was in there. I hope the kitchen was cleaner than the washroom. The floors were sticky the mirrors were dusted over and the air vent cover was covered with lots of stuff and hadn’t been cleaned in some time.
I used to love the Wok Box as they had the best ginger beef anywhere. Times have changed though. Had the ginger beef today. I ordered the jumbo and it was more money and the price has gone up but the quantity of food has has gone way down last 2 times. What is cheaper than rice? It had less than 1/2 the usual amount. I can see them cutting cost but have gone too far as I will never return.
Payed $25 for crispy chicken combo delivered. $25 for 8 chicken nuggets, some noodles with sauce and a pop. Ouch!!! I used to love wok box, simply not worth it now.Food: 2/5

I am normally a fan of wok box and am all about supporting local economy especially during times like this I understand why restaurants have had to up their prices but when they up prices and only fill your container 3/4full skipping on the fresh sprouts on top aswell as dried out limes is very disappointing
Great customer service! Staff added complimentary spring rolls to my order! There was a problem with skip the dishes and adding the promo for free spring rolls. I added a note and they called me and still honoured it even though skip will not be paying for it. I appreciate it guys!!!
I’d like to say I’m a regular customer, always good food and follows instructions. But tonight was a bit iffy, not to sure if the guy that I ordered with who also prepared my food is new or not cause I’m pretty sure it’s my first time seeing him. I ordered a regular Sweet Mongolian combo to go. Opened the box when I got home, first thing I seen was the lime on the top looked to be pretty old and already squeezed, not fresh like usually does so I threw that right out. Also asked for Chow Mein noodles, buddy confirmed that I wanted Chow Mein, I said yes and still got Udon Noodles and found that out when I got home. Still had to ask for my fountain drink cup when I got the food too. Call me crazy but when I’m already paying close to $18-20 for a meal combo which is already pretty pricey as is, I expect to get my order correct according to my receipt without a lime on the top that looks to be old and already squeezed and with the correct noodle. Food was still good though.
Waited over an hour for food as a customer that came into the restaurant to order. They refused me in dine in only offer because I was taking my food to go, due to not being allowed to dine in. Was told 20 minutes and skip the dishes kept getting served first over and over again. A customer standing right in front of you should ALWAYS come first. I will not be giving wok box my service again. This place is a joke and the employees were rude.
My food didn't look like the picture I was lacking garnish. I also found a rubber band in the bottom of my food box underneath my food. Sorry to say I hate most of my food before i noticed. Being a red seal cook myself! How can I go back there?
