I ordered the extra spicy Bangkok Pad Thai + 4 Spring Rolls on Skip tonight. The spring rolls were very good and I have no complaints. The Pad Thai was half as spicy as Tabasco sauce and extremely dry. The noodles soaked up the sauce they had put on and clumped together into a dry ball that forced us to break apart the noodles into small pieces to mix them together. I ended up letting half of it go cold because the noodles cooled into a solid, unappetizing mass. There was an option for extra sauce for $1.50 per scoop but since it was my first time ordering I didn't add it. I order frequently from Edo Japan and they don't charge for adding sauce. Charging per scoop just comes across as stingy, the taste itself was actually pretty good, it just ruined it by being far too dry.
Absolutely the most disgusting food I've ever ordered! Since when is a vermicelli bowl made with over-cooked chowmein noodles? Lemongrass beef had no flavor and was dry like cardboard with beansprouts. No shredded carrots or lettuce, no fish sauce even though I asked and was assured it was in the box. A waste of $40! No manager to talk to. I will be finding the manager to further discuss.
I've nothing but horrible experiences at the spruce oodle noodle. At best their dishes are inconsistent with what you expect from the franchise and flavorless, but here are my nightmare stories. Our last visit before yesterday I asked that my four year old's dish be very mild. When we opened our boxes the food was absolutely loaded in red pepper flakes to the point you wonder if the lid fell off and spilled them in or are the staff so evil and vindictive they would destroy a child's meal? After many months I braved it again judge for yourself. We again opened our boxes to disappointment. My kids meal was beyond bland with zero sauce, and my curry was also sauceless with no flavor but lemongrass. Nothing against lemongrass but it wasn't what I had planned to eat for supper. Frustrated, I drove across town to exchange it for some actual curry. I was kind and stated that while the box was marked curry their wasn't any curry at all and they were professional enough. Still super bland and not what I would expect from other locations, at least it did have some sort of curry sauce. Within an hour or two I became increasingly I'll. Throughout the earlier night I couldn't go from throwing up to sit down on the toilet fast enough. Short story I will never visit this site again. In fact I don't think I will ever need noodz in my life ever at any time again.
Ordered a meal from skip the dishes . Got confirmation from skip that order was on its way. It never came. Restaurant was aware and would not credit my account. What to do ??? Impossible to reach skip.
I advise everyone to be aware that this establishment just serve food that is not worth your money. Imagine i ordered fried rice and the item delivered is raw rice poorly cooked like a rice porridge. And skip was onky rwfunding 50% of my koney that i spent
Have loved oodle noodle for years. This location is awful. When you order from a franchise you expect the same quality and the same food. This location is flavorless, different noodles, its like they order cheaper ingredients. Lack of ingredients and taste. Horrible and a waste of money.
Avoid this place Worst hot box ive ever tried, crazy salty noodles, chilli oil was a rip off, only provides one packet of soya sauce, ordered a double shrimp and only got a regular sized one. I wish I read the other 1 star reviews, the oodlenoodle on the westend of edmonton is MUCH better
I love Oodle Noodle in Capilano so I decided to try the one in Spruce Grove, it was tasteless and just gross. I couldn’t believe it was the same company. The noodles had little to no sauce, all that could be tasted was pasty sticky udon noodles. Chicken was questionable. The box was not full either. The counters were not clean, and the cook was wearing street clothes. I considered leaving but gave the benefit of the doubt. I will not be back.
Unless you would like to wait 40 minutes for your fast food and have various meal delivery services prioritized above your order, go somewhere else. Sat here waiting 45min for 2 orders and watched other unhappy customers wait including a skip the dishes driver
Ordered and picked up order, wasn't ready, was cold when I got home the noodles weren't even cooked and the veggies were raw.The person the grill blew his nose and did not wash his hands. The only reason I gave it one star is 0 isn't an option.
