Vancouver's cultural, artistic and social venue. Hall upstairs, Lounge downstairs - new members always welcome. Come on down and check us out!

Story

For over 50 years, the Wise Club has hosted music shows, festivals, celebrations, theatrical shows, and fundraisers in its upstairs Hall. Downstairs we host a members lounge that is always accepting new members - have the bartender sign you in and taste the experience. Best Guinness on tap, best prices in town! The place is full of both character, and characters, and you can join in a game of pool or darts, or find a corner to catch up with friends. Canucks games all season. What's not to love? Hope to see you by sometime soon.

The WISE Club is located in a residential neighbourhood, kindly respect the club and our neighbours by smoking in the designated areas & keeping voices down while outside, thanks!

Fabulous little intimate venue, and the bar downstairs is cheap AF too. Would definitely go to future shows / concerts here. And The Dip were awesome!
Nice unpretentious space with a mezzanine. It looks like the acoustical cousin of Celebrities nightclub. The only thing I don't like is you can hear the music from the lounge. Other than that it's a nice space with character.
Great Hall ! Took my son, niece and nephew a couple weeks ago to Nightseeker. Would of gave 5 stars if not for the Goof doorman. Getting talked down to buy this mall cop clown did not sit well with many in the line up including myself. Great show, great venue !
Awesome old school dive. I can imagine union representatives meeting here. Van doesn't get cooler.
Love this community arts venue! It's comfortable with character, and a great place to see live performances. An East Van gem!
This is a cozy, family like setting. We've. Re attending most Mondays since Sept.til now. I believe in supporting our local talent plus this is a fabulous group. While fighting cancer last year, I attended as it felt good for my soul & healing. Now I'm Cancer free!
This is an amazing venue and I would totally recommend it to anyone! Super cool and low-key, yet has an awesome location right on the water!! 10/10
I have only been in the upper floor at this venue for Burlesque shows but it's a neat building.
