Beautiful lodge on 8 acres of woodlands. Enjoy our complimentary hot breakfast made from scratch in our kitchen. Take a hike on our 1/2 mile trail or play croquet and badminton. On Route 1, we're close to everything.

Story

Welcome to beautiful Wiscasset Woods Lodge. Conveniently located on Route 1 in mid-coast Maine, we're close to everything!
Situated on eight acres of woodlands, we are pet and bicycle friendly. When you're not out exploring the region enjoy all our hotel has to offer. We have a 1/2 mile primitive hiking trail, boccie ball, badminton, and croquet outside. Our cozy dining room has a wood burning stove, board games and cards. Perfect for those rainy evenings.

What a lovely experience! Very clean room with adorable decorations like the dragonfly towel hooks. The rooms smelled like fresh sawn pine, so clean! The breakfast was a wonderful hot breakfast, different home cooked dishes daily. I loved the details of the book in the room with the history of the lodge and the info on the current owners, one of whom was our chef every morning! The 1/2 mile hiking trail on the property is easily managed and therefore family and pet friendly. (I have some medical issues and am easily fatigued, but this was an easy stroll). Very accommodating with our late arrival and just wonderfully friendly. I'd happily book again! The location is awesome, too, with access to some of the best parts of mid-coast Maine.

Cozy room, Beds were comfy. Friendly, accommodating staff. Water pressure was so so but the water didn't stink. Grounds were pretty. Breakfast was outstanding! Nice location, 3 miles from the worlds best little lobster shack "Red's Eats." We would stay again.

Had a wond.wonderful stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We stayed 4 days and enjoyed a different breakfast each day. They were always delicious. A very comfortable home away.

Writing this from room 13... It's our second visit here, this time for a week with no qualms. Nicest rooms I've seen for the price -custom woodwork all around, nice owners, location convenient to... All of Maine, more or less. Free cooked to order breakfasts - not a fake lukewarm egg to be found, but the real deal. And they have Moxie 😀

Outstanding, professional management by the owners, they really care about their guests. Excellent breakfast, convenient location. Saundra and Eric are the best. Some rooms are pet friendly, our cat loved his stay. We've moved on to the Pacific Northwest, but hope we have the change to stay at WWL again. Highly recommended.
