Kennebec Inn Bed and Breakfast

As your visit comes to an end at the Kennebec Inn, you will already be planning your return. Yes, it's that great of a place! It's iconic Maine and exactly what we had in mind when planning our first visit to the state. The house is historic, immaculate and comfortable. Rachel is an absolute perfect host - a talented chef, an expert on the area and a gifted storyteller. Staying in Bath is the perfect spot to explore all of the Mid Coast, which is exactly what we did. With recommendations from Rachel, we went to several lighthouses and charming towns in the area and found the best lobster spots. We can't wait for our return visit - and look forward to enjoying Rachel's homemade cookies again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Kennebec Inn! Everything from the moment we arrived was perfect. Rachel made us feel at home and provided recommendations for out in town and breakfast in the morning was delicious. It was just a quick stop for us on our way down the coast, but we will sure to be back!

So many great things about this place, I don't know where to start.The breakfast is divine, and the owner, Rachel, is a veritable Maine expert. She gave us great recommendations on things to do and local restaurants. She even lent us beach chairs. I stayed in the America's Cup room and it was beautiful and clean. I miss the homemade cookies and breakfast already...

The house was awesome, the service fantastic. Rachel made the best breakfast and we couldn't have had a better time. Thank you very much for having us on our vacation!

Loved loved Kennebec Inn! Rachel was so awesome from the time we arrived through and until we left. The Inn was well appointed, our room was very comfy and warm and the food was fabulous! I would recommend this inn to anyone. Rachel was so gracious, warm and helpful in giving us some ideas of where to go based upon what we wanted to do. She nailed it! I wish our visit was longer but we had to go.....hopefully we will be back one day! Julianne Johnson If I could give more stars, I would!
