Wiregrass Lake Metropark

Wonderful spot for camping! 3 sites to choose from, just make sure to bring your own water, as there is none there. Each site has its own wood box & trash bin. All 3 are set back away from the trail, giving you plenty of privacy.

Very nice man made lake stocked with plenty of fish. Now if I could just figure out how to get them to bite....

Great place to fish, camp, and bird. Quite ,not too out of the way, but you feel like you're "off the grid" for awhile. If you're planning on camping there, bring your own water-potable & washing, as there isn't a well there.

A quiet Metropark, you might have it all to yourself off-hours. The path around the pond is grass, and about .6 miles. The dock and water is great for kayaking, SUPing etc if you want calm clean water. The event gazebo is nice, and usually unused.

I didn't have much luck catching fish but I saw a few catching some small fish. It's a nice relaxing place. I love walking my dog here. Gives dog opportunity to play in water.
