A quiet, not very populated park hidden on the outer edge of suburbia. Many trails to choose from with lengths that vary from less than one mile to an all purpose trail that extends up to 2.7 mules. The hiker also has a choice of atmosphere; deep woods, prairie, wildflower, boardwalk. Finish a hike with a stop at the cozy window on wildlife

My wife and I were married there on September 16th 2017 at the Shephurst Memorial area. We had the spot reserved from 10am-2pm and were charged a VERY reasonable price. Highly recommended!

One of the bigger Metroparks in the Toledo area, a real gem as it is never overly busy. Good place to stop on long bicycle rides.

Peaceful, educational, relaxing. Great park minutes from Toledo. Get off the beaten path and find tranquility in the woods, savannah, and prairies of what was once part of northwest Ohio's Black Swamp.
