Story

Located only 10 minutes west of the Perimeter (100/101) on the Trans Canada Highway #1, our KOA is an ideal RVing, camping and/or picnic spot for Winnipeg-area residents and tourists alike.

We have a variety of sites to offer you, from un-serviced tenting sites to larger full-serviced pull-through RV sites. We also have discounted fuel (1 cent per litre) for our camping guests.

With access to all Winnipeg's places of interest within a 45-minute drive, you can have the best of both the urban and rural worlds in one ideal location. Take a day or two to explore the city, or perhaps you'd like to just take it easy and relax along the banks of the Assiniboine River while you enjoy an authentic camping experience complete with barbecuing, fishing or canoeing. Our campground is a true Canadian camping experience with the luxury of city conveniences- come visit us and enjoy!

The guys who run this place are great! Super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The location is good, but it is right beside the highway, so the noise of the traffic can be a bit much. It is also fairly open and Dusty. The bonus is that have a small pool with a splash pad for the kids! We arrived on the last day it was open and it was 30 degrees outside, so very refreshing! The Esso station adjoining the park is very convenient.

The WORST KOA I've ever seen. Filthy washrooms & laundry. KOA please inspect this place. We stayed here because we trusted the KOA brand. I guess we can't anymore. We've been on the road for over 2 months and this was the worst place we stayed. Wanted to stay for 2 nights, but cancelled the second one. Do yourself a favour and don't stay here.

While the park is off the highway it was pretty good. The spots are typical of KOA in that they are packed together. We were here for our 2nd night on our way back from BC to Ottawa and it was good. The bathrooms can do some updating but I understand from the owners that they are in the process of doing exactly that. The pool was a decent size for the size of the park. And they even had a play structure that my daughter loved to play on.

This is one of the nicest places I have visited in many years.. I have been coming here each year since 2000.. They owners have made so many improvements.. The place is kept spotless..all the time. The customer service is impeccable.. The cleaning lady (Nancy) does a fantastic job.. The owners go above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy The 24 hour shower and laundry is fantastic.i have included pictures to show you..

Owners were friendly and welcoming. They explained that they have some issues with their WiFi in the campground but to feel free to come to the cafe if we needed a strong connection. My kids loved the playground. The pool area looked great, but we weren't there long enough to use it. We would visit here again.
