Winnebago County District Attorney

No. They have no clue what they are doing. The worst. Unprofessional. No communication. Rude. Two faced. They totally screwed up a felony assault case. It got dismissed due to their blunder! Now apparently to cover their mistake, they are actually charging the female victim in this case who did nothing wrong but have a traumatic head injury from getting beat down into the pavement. Now she is being charged with disorderly for how she was in the hospital after having her head split open and being confused and scared! This is my best friend who would never hurt a fly! The man who beat her up is having his case reviewed by the state attorneys for an appeal because no way can this guy just walk. The ADA even said it was unjust. Then they filed these charges after hanging up the phone. Mind u this incident was in October and it is now July. What kind of JUSTICE is THAT? The media will be contacted, papers, online postings, law suits possibly. I'm telling her to get a jury of her peers and fight it. No way a single juror would charge this amazing woman after she got beat up like that for how she reacted to her severe trauma in the hospital! We both think she thought she was still under attack and we wanna know why no one injected her to put her to sleep! Her head was gashed open badly and split in two. My advice is to avoid Winnebago county as much as you can. Kangaroo court or corrupt as you can get. You pick. At the very least nasty fake unprofessionals who can't be bothered to communicate and it cost our area a violent felon on the streets still walking around and still abusing girls. We know for a fact he is still physically abusing his current girlfriend, not my friend, this guy beats up many girls! The Winnebago county courts love it apparently. Did I mention the guy works for the government? Must be a coincidence. This is supposed to be America. Not again traumaizing the victim for a win... Who elected these people? Can't we do any better than this in America? ? Oh and my friend has permanent brain damage now from this horrible skull fracture. So that's not bad enough... she's been crying all day and I'm so mad at Winnebago for putting her through all this I had to come online and say this right now while it's fresh in my mind. She's suffered enough! I'm contacting a damn good. lawyer with her first thing and next the papers until this nonsense is dismissed or someone is fired!! Please pray for her thank you.

Incapable of performing simple tasks. Unable to respond to phone calls. Accidentally forgot an unfiled charge and caused significant personal property loss due to their negligence.
