Outstanding, Mr Marriett has been absolutely top notch from beginning to end. I had a minor motor violation I was not guilty of brought against me almost a year ago. Paul Marriett from the very beginning did an excellent job of explaining to me the possible outcomes and his game plan thoroughly after each court appearance. He has communicated with me consistently, and professionally from the beginning. The case was eventually dismissed from court and I can not express how wonderful it was working with Paul Marriett. I hired Paul in March of 2017 to represent me in Winnebago County. He informed me that my case had circumstances outside of the normal case and because of this the court process could take longer than usual. He is entirely upfront about what he charges and how those charges will be impacted depending on what defense strategy is used. The case did take longer than usual, but at the end of it, the outcome was incredibly favorable and most importantly worth while. 

Paul gives you multiple ways of contacting him through e-mail, text, phone which is valuable with busy schedules. As a result of this communication, Paul, did not need me to visit his office one time and still handled my case incredibly well. I would not hesitate to recommend Paul to anyone I know in need of a defense attorney.

Choosing to spend money on someone to be your advocate in a time of crisis without knowing them personally is an act of trust. Many people, especially the working middle class, have a poor opinion of attorneys. When you find yourself in need of legal representation and the cost that comes with that need, it can be quite scary. 
When I found myself in need of an attorney in a time of crisis I researched many options and decided on Paul Marriett. I am very thankful I did! He was straightforward and honest and was very compassionate. I truly felt supported. Unlike other experiences I have had  in the past with attorneys, Paul was easy to reach and communicate with. I never felt that I was left wondering what was happening in my case, Paul kept me informed and provided realistic expectations and guidance. His courtroom presence displays the respect he has earned in his profession and practice. I highly recommend his services and the cost to retain him is more than fair and every bit worth it!

Almost a year ago, I found myself in a situation that required legal advice and representation. I had never in my life been in any sort of criminal trouble. I was facing very serious charges. 

I found Mr. Marriett by googling criminal defense lawyers. After reading previous written reviews, I decided to give him a call. I briefly explained my situation. He agreed to meet with me and discuss my case and options. I was completely nervous and scared when we sat down to talk, but Mr. Marriett was able to convey to me in understandable terms what I was facing and come up with a solution to work with the State’s Attorney Office to keep my record clean. 

He’s a very genuine, down to earth invidual, that abled me to put my trust in him. He kept me informed through text messages and email, which worked wonderfully with my busy schedule. 

I’m so grateful to Mr. Marriett for representing me and allowing me to stay in a field that I truly love. I highly recommend him for your legal needs. It was by chance that I found him but after one year later my life couldn’t be better.

Paul was great! He made a difficult and complex process easy and almost no work. He took care of everything and was even able to get me an incredibly good deal. With just a few phone calls, a couple of texts, and minimal emails, the problem was handled, solved, and done in a quick and seamless way! I would definitely recommend Paul and would hire him again in a heartbeat if anything else were to ever come up! Thanks again for everything Paul.
